[request] Make pets faster

Hey, can you guys make the non-combat pets run faster? They can't keep up with a fast mount at top speed and they just keep spawning behind the character.

Well pets are fast, its just that players have doubled or probably nearly tripled in mountspeed over the years. Much like how in combat movement speed has more than doubled for the average player.

Kind of a slippery slope power creep wise. Its not like a boss's healthbar where you can just keep raising it every patch when damage creeps. As speed creeps, the world size is the same. Point to point distance is the same. Player model sizes are the same. Skill ranges are the same. NPC skill ranges are the same. Its nice that there are the more choices, but its not something to be ignored.

The poor sloth is doing their very best to keep up. I'm not sure which I would feel more breaking: pets having extreme zoomies or just letting them take a break in the despawn dimension. Maybe we need sidecars on our mounts to carry our not-so-active pets.

I never have pets out because I feel bad at how hard they try to keep up with us. I would be more likely to have a pet with me if they didn't have to frantically chase behind us every time we mount up.

Just dont make it apply to the sloth as that would be immersion breaking..
