Do you use Lazy Writ Crafter? It recently added the voice to the enchanting table when it's crafting glyphs. I don't see a way to toggle it off.

More specifically it was "added back" with LibLazyCrafting 4.0.25, a few weeks ago. Apparently the voice not playing was a bug, and the bug was "fixed".

If you want, you can manually change that section of the library's code to revert it back. That's what I did. You would need to do that every time the library gets updated though.

I love that voice! It's so funny how epic it sounds compared to the relatively more grandiose things we do. Hopefully the add-on author can fix it their add-on for those who don't like it though. You may want to post this on that add-on site that I forget the name of

My character has not made any sounds during fishing for several years now. I have Telvanni Magister personality active, so it might possibly be related to that.

I wish the was a way to mute the guards in cyro that just stand around doing weird moves. 24/7 grunts/moaning/yelling.

Turning off voices in General has made this game so much less abrasive to me. The constant yawning, burping, sighing gets on my nerves. It's literally like every ten seconds or so! Makes DSA and vMA much more tolerable as well. And of course no more...

The only one that doesn't seem to stop is that whimpering dog in Daggerfall! So I ended up having to do the quest on every character I've ever made.

I’ve heard the voice ever since I started crafting years ago and I’ve always liked it. I can’t ever remember a time I did not hear the voice. I love the voice, but then, I love all the other voices I hear in my head too.

I hadn't heard it for a very long time until Lazy Writ Crafter was updated.

But then sometimes I hear woodcrafting sounds at all the other crafting stations, but only on one character and never on the others. And I haven't heard members joining or leaving the guild in a few years now, so something is weird with my sounds.

While my enchanting crafting daily has never lost the voice, I did lose the ability to hear new people joining a guild on all my characters years ago, and have never gotten it back since. I’ve always thought that was so strange since other people do get to hear it sometimes.

I used to always hear it. Then it stopped but a few months later started again. Then I changed guilds and I still heard it. Then it stopped again and never came back.

I think I'll give that a whirl tonight and see what happens.

ETA: Nope, not the personality. It must be just globally turning off audio as described in the post below.

Well, that's weird since I don't have any audio turned off. Maybe it's somehow related to the character voice then? Or some kind of bug between character type and what not? All I can say is that I have a male Dunmer (voice type B, I think) and he doesn't yell while fishing. At all.
