Maintenance on EU prime time.

Just out of curiosity... Why can't the maintenance be done on mornings, during the week, instead of weekends.

I'm on Europe, for those who work during the week, Friday night is a nice time for entertainment. I just logged in a few minutes ago, to play a couple of hours, and got surprised by a maintenance to solve some problem with home tours. Couldn't it be done on Monday? Maybe it's just me, but I'd prefer the maintenances during the week and not at the weekends. What do you think?

Group finder doesn't work either. Not great for prime time.

Well, this one wasn't planned. This is an emergency one to address issues with the group finder.

Oh! I didn't notice that. I only had time for one battleground and it was working at my end. Seems that I got lucky then.

I saw that. But I thought it was mostly a Home Tours issue, because I didn't notice any problem with the group finder. But I understand now.

EU primetime? Maintenance started at midnight CET

That is hardly primetime anymore

When I opened the trial group finder, I was overjoyed there were like 25 entries. I knew it was too good to be true lol

Hold on, is it just for EU? I have not checked the group finder, but the Home Tours does not work for PCNA either. I assume we have the same problem, no?

Edit: Home Tours are now somehow working on PCNA. Definitely was not working yesterday.

PC/NA is having the same exact issues as PC/EU but yet we don't get a fix? I don't understand the reasoning for this. I use group finder every night for trials and have not been able to do that for 2 days now.

I only just realized there was a maintenance, when I just saw the announcement in the forums long after the fact. It must have been over earlier than anticipated, because I'm pretty sure I logged onto PCEU sometime between 7 and 8 PM EDT (7:30?) and had no problem getting in.

You should open dictionary and read what is prime time. Midnight is not a prime time, it‘s almost graveyard time.
ZOS did right thing.

Every time is someone's primetime. Every day is someone's day off when they want to play. Personally I'm glad they cared enough to address an issue and not let it go all weekend.

It was an unplanned maintenance for something that needed to be fixed, and it didn't even take the two hours they had scheduled for it. It was closer, if not slightly less than, 90 minutes.
You make it sound like ZOS intentionally goes out of their way to ruin your day.
