Screen dimming is back [and enabled by force]

My 1 line edit to UserSettings.txt, worked great to prevent ESO screen dimming.. until the latest ESO patch.

Now screen dimming is back to being enabled. My 1 line edit no longer prevents it.

This is BAD imo. If I need or want to conserve power, I will simply turn off my display, or my PC. I do not require ESO hand-holding to FORCE me to conserve power.

Add a UI option to disable this [and respect our setting] please.

Found it, thanks! Though for anyone else curious about turning it off, note, it is called "Idle Power Reduction", zero reference to screen dimming, until you mouse over it. Also mentions lowing the resolution, oof, a setting I would NEVER want a game to do. Odd things can happen if a game starts to change resolution on its own whim, for example, a re-ordering of screen icons, and a re-sizing of all opened windows, to name a few.

Also, devs, would you mind tying this screen dimming setting to the UserSettings.txt file? Meaning, I had this disabled via a 1 line edit, that used to work. So scan that file, if you see a player disabled this via that edit, adjust the in-game option to.. also be disabled, by default. Also may consider making this two options, one for screen dimming, one for resolution lowering.

game settings like that are tied to the UserSettings.txt (so your settings arent reset every time you launch the game)

but i think they changed the name of the variable used to store this setting though and would need to look up what the new one was

It used to be

SET EnergySustainabilityMeasuresEnabled "0"

with "0" for disabled and "1" for enabled. Now it's

SET ENERGY_SUSTAINABILITY_SCREEN_DIM_AND_RESOLUTION "2"

with "0" and "1" for different timers and "2" for disabled

Thanks, while I love this feature on my laptop, its an annoyance on my desktop.
