two guilds give level 1 trait gear out of their guild banks for newbs that need to research traits. that's awesome!
Also when there wasn't an item trait i wanted someone else made it for me. also awesome!
then i asked for either a protective or harmony jewl piece and i was lucky enough to get both pieces for research for free! also awesome!
so far i have all the skill points for jewls, woodworking, and blacksmithing and i'm half way throiugh enchanting. Oh! and i can make 6 trait sets in them also but so far only weapons in blacksmithing but def jewls and woodworking. YaY!

It is also a good way of making new friends (though to anyone who just wants to help out and be left in peace, I assure you this part is not obligatory).1 -
