What caused you to keep playing the game when you first started?

    The mere fact that it is an Elder Scrolls Game

    100% because I had people I knew from other games that were playing with me. I told myself over and over again that this wasn't the reason for playing, but as soon as they started playing something that wasn't ESO... so did I.

    Originally lore and werewolf playstyle, but having fun with guildies is the only reason I ever log in these days.

    I did play ESO for quite a few years and enjoyed it a lot.
    But I stopped a while back, not because it was bad but I had done most things I wanted to do and at one point it became repetitive (thats not unique to ESO, every MMO has that).
    I got back with Necrom and enjoyed that as well but the questing just didn't work anymore and specifically the same sort of questions/answers you get. It follows the same sort of style.
    I remember the base story and the follow ups being way more interesting (I mean the way of quests etc) but maybe my memory is clouded.
    I'll probably go back once in a while though as it still holds a special place for me.
