Anyone want to bet if I use berserker strike and someone leaps me it will still root/snare me through immunity and prevent roll dodging?

It most likely will, just like Sea-Serpent would still snare you or a skill such as Immovable.

There's outliers to the CC/Snare immunity system, in case of leap I believe the 100% snare was added to help it land due to it's AoE hit box, travel time and positional desyncs in the game.

Really just unfortunate side effect of game performance - they could maybe think of different solutions to the problem though, such as increasing the radius of Leap AoE instead to account for the desync and removing the snare.

Yeah I know, zos had never just overhauled leap like they should have done from the start. They tried to make it a pseudo single target gap close(that is dodgeable normally) but make it also do aoe that is supposed to be unddodgeable. However the single target code had issues and for whatever reason was still technically dodgeable because how gap closers work.

It is rule exceptions like this that make the game far less understandable to new players.
