I enjoyed the craft challenges and appreciate the workstations. I do not understand how the workstations are to be used so they are sitting silently in my inventory.

But I can't place them in my home! I bought the Snugpod to have a house with room. They're in my inventory, but there's no way to place them. "Use" means attune. I thought they could be used as normal stations until they were attuned?
I finished the capstone reward the day after the rare ESO+ trial ended. /facepalm
Are they just going to clutter up my sparse inventory until the next ESO+ trial?
EDIT: Okay, Vvardenfell is base game now. And it has three set stations. Shacklebreaker isn't terrible for an account that does't haven have access to champion points yet, but while Daedric Trickery is a fine PvP set, not much use here. And Assassin's Guile isn't useful either.
I will wait until I can attune this to Order's Wrath or maybe Tideborn, if Solitude becomes part of ESO+ as planned.
But Order's Wrath with the great bonuses and only needing 3 traits is my go-to for beginners!
But what I want NOW is to be able to use these stations at standard crafting stations. Why can't I?

You need to quickslot the Attunable Crafting Stations and use them at any Set Station across Tamriel, like you would use a Repair Kit in Cyrodiil.

I didn't know they could be quickslotted, that's good to know. But I do know how to attune them.
My point is, I don't have access to any set locations I want to attune. So until I have a free ESO+ week again, they're just taking up inventory space. Why can't I use them as normal crafting stations until then?

For accounts that don't have access to ESO+, or haven't bought any of the chapters/DLCs, the tables, as they are awarded, aren't much use, until the next Free ESO+ week.
I could attune them to the Vvardenfell sets, but none of those are very useful for non-PVPers.
ZoS_Kevin, would it be possible to make attunable tables, that haven't yet been attuned, function as standard crafting tables?
ETA: Ignore. Leaving for context.I guess I don't understand the issue here. There are set crafting areas all around vanilla areas, and while those sets may not be "meta" there are several very serviceable ones. Use Home Tours to find an open house with crafting stations? Or use guild finder to join a guild with all the stations?

The point is, the reward for this golden pursuit is inventory clutter for accounts without access to ESO+, and who don't want to attune the (mostly useless for PvE) Vvardenfell sets, since AFAICT, those are the only sets attunable to people without ESO+.
