Error codes again??????

Why is it every Sunday I am kicked at approx the same times every sunday evening?

I used to think it was trader swap that caused the issues in the past on sunday evenings anh that's why they switched them.

Now I am not so sure.

ZOS explained at the time that the flip was being impacted by issues caused by high concurrency on the weekend. It was moved to insulate it from the impact of that high concurrency, as it now occurs during a workday when fewer players are on and when more staff are available to handle anything that does arise.

Much of that concurrency will have remained, and with it the issues that it brings.

have you got any error codes that the game provides?

is there something going on with your internet connection at that time? 7 day IP address release maybe?

it sounds like there could be something going on locally as opposed to the game. without more information it would be difficult for anyone to diagnose.

The usual error codes that you get when kicked.

And no it isn't anything to do with my ISP. It happens at exactly the same time every sunday and only when I open menus.

Also, see the post before yours.

In regards to that they did change the trader bidding on 11th August 2020 to tuesdays because of this.

seems weird that its only you getting it though. That trader change was made 5 years ago. it would be strange to link the two items.

Have you tried disabling all your add ons. ?

also might be worth you video'ing it and then sending to ZOS - because if you can replicate it that easily, they might be able to help . the TLDR is youll need to raise a ticket..

I'm not the only one getting it.

No, it's not my addons because if it was it would be happening more regularly not just at the same time every sunday night.

Again look at Virtus753s post above the issues still exist from 5 years ago they haven't disappeared. Moving the trader made things more stable.

Have you spoken to your ISP's technical support? "It isn't anything to do with my ISP" isn't a valid answer to the question, it's either "Yes" or "No". Give them the exact time this is happening every Sunday and they can analyse the network traffic and their internal data logs and either confirm a problem at their end or give a definitive answer that there's nothing wrong at their end. That confirmation will help ZOS when you put in a ticket.

Have you disabled all your addons (I think it also needs to be libraries although I can't give the full details on that as I don't use addons) on Sunday nights? Again, " it's not my addons" isn't a valid answer to the question. If you do so and it makes no difference to the problem then again that confirmation will help ZOS help you.

I hope you can resolve the problem, but I strongly suspect that in order to do so you're going to have to approach both ZOS and your ISP with an open mind as to where the solution may lie.
