Maintenance for the week of September 15:
• PC/Mac: NA and EU megaservers for patch maintenance – September 15, 4:00AM EDT (8:00 UTC) - 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC)
• Xbox: NA and EU megaservers for patch maintenance – September 16, 6:00AM EDT (10:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EDT (16:00 UTC)
• PlayStation®: NA and EU megaservers for patch maintenance – September 16, 6:00AM EDT (10:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EDT (16:00 UTC)

Will ESO+ members get any compensation for the downtime during maintenance?

I don't know, a little voice in my head tells me I'm entitled to at least a two-week extension of ESO+.

And on principle, even if a legal action costs more than the possible return, I don't want to give it up.

And IMHO all European ESO+ customers should at least do as I did - support, refund request - or we will face an increasingly worse service.

Well let us know how *that* works out :P

Have ESO+ members ever received any kind of compensation for lost game availability? No.

I was an ESO+ member for 9 consecutive years without a break. What did I get for my loyalty? U35.

So I cancelled ESO+ and haven't looked back since. Every change they've made since U35 has convinced me I made the right choice.

I've let my ESO+ lapse. Not for all the downtime we get in EU, and we've had some pretty spectacular failures in the couple of weeks that I've been stopped. The free ESO+ we're getting now is a kind of compensation, I guess, but ESO+ is not about getting game time. We're not paying to play, and if we were, you wouldn't see me for dust.

Should I need some crowns for something, I'll buy them with ESO+. That's how I started all those years ago, and having access to the DLC was great. The business model has changed with the content pass, and I don't think storage is worth €12.99 a month.

Guys, what are you talking about?

I'm not referring to just the evening after the maintenance.

I am referring to the period from approximately July 10th to 24th in which the service was unusable due to, as Kevin admitted, a connection problem between the american datacenter and the Frankfurt servers, in addition to all the other random problems connected to scheduled maintenances.

I want a two-week extension on ESO+, and if they deny my refund request, you can be sure I'll take legal action. Not out of greed, but out of principle.

And everyone who loves this game should do the same, or this will become the norm.

If we want the service to maintain high standards, when they fall short, we need to assert our rights.

Bro is crashing out over like $2 worth of ESO+ time lol
