I've recently noticed a trend of "cozy" ESO content involving mostly housing and zone exploration popping up on YouTube (or maybe it's just me projecting my frustration with the stagnant FF XIV housing system and other platforms and, for what little it's worth, would like to nudge the ESO dev team to lean into it as much as they can - there's no better customer to have than someone who just wants to remodel their perfect reading room for the 30th time and has never noticed how broken Cyrodiil is. Try to add as much life sim content as you can - anything involving housing, gardening, NPC companions and world interaction in general. A "Homestead 2" update, if you will!
- Keep pumping out housing items until you've covered all your world assets!
- I'm not saying the players should be able to date their favourite Khajiit companion, because everyone already knows that this is true and I'm sure you're working on it.
- Improve the world weather effects (the ESO ASMR video scene will love you even more!) and add umbrellas and parasols people can make/buy($$??!?) and equip.
- Add as much useless everyday-looking clothing as you can.
- Improve the built-in system for quick-slotting emotes and macros without addons.
- Interactions with pets! Allow people to play fetch with their dogs, pet their baby guars or feed their goats.
This game is on a great path and the more small things you can add to make people feel at home either IN their home or the world the better! Thank you for coming to my TED talk and have a nice day in this wonderful game!
