Merchant selling gold "ching" sound missing

After today's patch, selling things to a standard Merchant makes no "ching" sound. It is like this on both my machines.

There is also a huge performance/CPU issue since Update 46.
I have been seeing lots of people talking in zone/guild chat. There are even multiple threads on the forums about this. There are people leaving the game, canceling plus, etc., because of this. I have a ticket on it, but I keep getting the run around with so many "trouble shooting steps", the only thing that changed over night is Update 46. Nothing else on either of my computers is effected, it's only when ESO runs that I get high CPU usage. Please address this.

Came here to chime in (ha) on both issues! I get SO MUCH graphics jitter now. It first showed up with the Solstice drop, but I assumed it was because so many players in a new zone were taxing the system. But yesterday in Elden Root I couldn't even get from the crafting writ turn-in area to the wayshrine without the framerate breaking into jitters, and I've seen it in several PD's and delves now. It's really bad. And I'm using an Alienware gaming laptop that should be running smooth as silk.

And I miss the cha-ching!

Also thank you for fixing the mineral node to the right of the door of Aetherian Archive (several updates ago, but I keep forgetting to mention it).

I wasn't sure which patch it started with, but I did notice that the SFX when selling items for gold has disappeared. It affects any merchant including those purchased with crowns. PCNA Steam / Epic

I haven't needed to purchase a gold valued item from a merchant recently, so I cannot specify if the sound is present there or not.

Alongside, on ps eu the sound when you confirm your champion point changes doesnt play until you leave the screen and are back in the menu

Nothing strange about it. That wasn’t a patch maintenance and so wasn’t designed to fix these sorts of bugs. We were told the next incremental patch is coming to PC in a week, so we’ll see then what fixes that brings.

So we had an update today, but this bug wasn't part of the fix.
This has been a known issue for quite a while.

Not only is it not fixed in this update, but as I suspected due to how the pts is copied from live approximately 24 hours beforehand, it is also on the pts now. Putting it here instead of in the pts forums because it's only on the pts because it's broke on live but I also do wonder if it gets fixed on live before the pts cycle ends but not on pts if we could get a fix only for a few weeks before getting the bug again but hopefully this warning here means ZOS can make a note on that issue and get us a fix on both.

After yesterdays update 2.74 on PS4, there is no sound when selling items to merchants.
There was before the update, I'm sure.
Another annoyance for me.

Speaking of high CPU usage, damn, I was playing just fine until yesterday, now the game takes 96% and freezes at the login screen.

Oddly, you get the "ching" sound if you buy-back the merchandise... (XB-NA). I also was hoping this bug would get a fix in the latest update. It's decidedly weird not to have the sound effect.

Yes, noticed today that if you sell to merchants/fences there's complete silence, but if you launder to fences, you get the 'ching' sound (for want of a better word).

Wasn't there a sound when looting corpse too, especially if coin was involved? I noticed today that it was decidedly quiet when looting and thought that there had been sounds there too. I wonder if they're slowly dropping sounds... Of course, I'd rather they drop some of the flashy cosmetic FX instead.
