It would be really nice if they gave a lot more context into why these take so long. Would go a lot further than “thanks for your patience”.

Im sure yall can survive a day without playing a video game and the rewards honestly arent really a big loss since the "pricy" or "wanted" rewards are mostly around the middle of the month. Youll probably loose 5k gold and 150 seals of endeavor. Nothing to be really worried about
I work in an IT coorporation and sometimes when bigger changes are made you just gotta take your time and make sure everything will work fine afterwards rather than doing it in a rush and [snip] up the whole system. Also its better to announce a long schedule and open the servers earlier than the other way around.

I do 20 full toons crafting writs. That’s 100k plus all the mats.
Not to mention it’s a fully paid up day of play lost… and along with all the extended maintenances in 12 months we easily lose a few weeks of paid sub time…
Try not flaming other players and lessening their validity on these forums. It’s not nice. Anyhoo… hope you have a blessed day.

Well thats my opinion and experience to this topic and i think im valid to share my thoughts. When you do crafting dailys on 20 toons and make 100k a day i think those 100k wont really bother you right?
Also, like in every other game, the whole system and servers do need good care in order to work properly and players getting the full experience with as little bugs and exploits as possible. i dont know what you do for a living but if youre not familiar with IT and servers you have no clue how much time and ressources are needed to run such a big and complex IT infrastructure.
Complaining about a few days a year youre not able to play bcs people are working for you so you can enjoy youre next ESO hours safely and with as good performance as possible isnt really right i think. Also, there are so many different external influences where the developers arent even responsible for. Like security lacks from Microsoft that are found and needs to get patched as soon as possible to minimize the chance for intruders to corrupt youre system etc. etc. Happens more than you think.
And i really dont see where i tried to flame and lessening the validity of other players here in the forums. I just stated facts. I wish you a good day aswell =D
