it is fun to know that Maormer have their own name(s) for the Southern Sea and that apparently Dwemer Submarines exist (undersea vessels).

A very well-done article, with a lot of good lore given to us! I enjoyed it very much, even if the question I most wanted answered wasn't chosen. I really, really want to know what year it is!

The mentioning of Vanus' name among the list of those "lost" (next to Merric, Gabrielle and "all those no longer with us") leaves the impression he was dead. Makes me wonder whether that's an accidental spoiler to the ending of Part 2.

thank you for another great loremaster archive! now that what happened to gabrielle is stated on the page, i'm hoping we learn more about her backstory before her time in the mages guild. we know nothing about what she was before that

I can’t help but notice that we got a spoiler warning on this article…

Seems weird though - recently ESO has been in this habit of “we need you all to play the story immediately.” Like how even the Gold Road reveal straight up said what happened at the end of Necrom because the story was built on that. And now, we’re again in the whole “hey, finish the story now! Now now now!” for Solstice as well, because this train isn’t stopping!

I really liked the stories from before, where if you didn’t have time at the moment, you could get to it whenever. I really prefer waiting so the population could go down a bit so I didn’t get each step thrown off by some NPC telling me “we must be the first people to set foot in this ruin in centuries!” while every mob is lying dead from the 17 Arcbladeplars who ran through three seconds earlier. But now it’s more like running the stories is a task I have to speed through despite my time, or else my experience doesn’t make sense.

It really reminds me of classes in school where the teacher hands out books and forces you to read it. Who likes that? It’s fun to do things you want, but someone telling you to do something is *not.*

I remember how much fun I had on the Orsinium line, because I did it at my own pace. Ditto Morrowind and Clockwork and all of those early stories. But all of this stuff that is given time limits is more… forgettable. Generic NPC tells you do go somewhere and push E because your character is written to be utterly brainless…

I guess we're still in ambiguous 2E 582 limbo then. Disappointing.

Was hoping to have a confirmation :(

I for one am happy with the story progression and acknowledgement of it. I feel it is great to be able to see the NPCs progressing and their reactions to that progression.

I believe it adds to the tension of character interactions knowing that not everything will be reset at the end of the story and there are some consequences that will carry on from one to another.

Overall I feel this Loremaster Archive addressed some of the parts that I feel where glossed over on Solstice in Part 1 and I hope to see expanded upon in part 2.

TBF I always assumed this was happening in the middle of a dragon break. Time is weird at this point in non time.
