Do you think ZOS should rollback subclassing and focus on class balance instead?

It won't happen, even when it should or at the very least it should be disabled in PvP. So far it has brought much more harm than good in that environment and ZOS will not be able to balance it.

PvP has turned just so bad as the rest of the game, maybe just look for another MMO
The good news about computers is that they do what you tell them to do.The bad news is that they do what you tell them to do.Ted NelsonElder Scrolls Online most balanced part is maybe the the number of bugs and not bugs!

    Roll back hybridization instead.

Subclassing isn't a bad concept. You can't add more lines, but replace one with another. It's annoying to people who don't want big changes, but any balance issue can be addressed by swapping abilities and passives like they're already doing.

But hybridization? There is no trade off. A year after it's introduced almost everyone in PvP became self healing tanks or they are crushed like bugs. Instead of unified stats, we should have more trade-off mechanisms, like scaling movement speed invertedly by resistance and shield, or separating healing stats from damage stats, etc.

PS: also people soloing DLC world bosses without even bothering to dodge or block.

I love subclassing because it feels like the single player games where my character has access to all the spells and stuff but I do wish it was a little more balanced. Certainly felt the imbalance with Mayhem this year.

    No.

I do think they should add 1 more skill to each base class skill line that only unlocks if all 3 skill lines are from the same class.

Could probably make it 1 additional skill and 1 additional passive per line.

The new skills wouldnt be ultimates.

Oh and to unlock them you could do something fun like make them part of a Class specific quest line that ends with you getting a new class motif you can only wear if fully base class.
