Upon travelling to another instance: Dropout from server due to (wrong) internet connection loss

I do some farming and change instances frequently (precisely to the unowned home in solstice). Since today I often get dropped from the server allegedly due to internet connection loss (which I did not lose as it is still there). I can log in right away so no big deal but still annoying. Anyone else? Any idea what's wrong?

This isn't a new feature for me, but it's becoming much more frequent.

I got this so much yesterday that I gave up playing for the day.

While I did get it sometimes previously, it seems to be more prevalent since the maintenance patch on 21 July 2025. Well, for me it is.

To me this points to an unstable internet connection. Keep in mind, there is a difference between having a connection and having a stable connection.

    Some things to try:
-Check your router settings, to not re-build or re-connect a connection and to discard unused/stray packets(to prevent networkcongestion).
-Maybe replace old internet cables, to make sure they are not damaged.
-If playing through wireless internet, maybe start using internet cables for more stability.
-Connect your internet cable to a different port on your router, as a single port could be damaged.
-Maybe try resetting your router, and/or try running ESO without your router connected(if you only have an ISP router/modem, try resetting or replacing that one).

Just some things to check from the top of my head.

PS: There are often players in town who seem to disappear/appear milliseconds later, again and again. This makes me know they have an unstable connection and will disconnect quite often. Especially during loading screens.
