Or you could start finishing some of them, if I take a quest I usually go do it in that gaming session or the next, so long as I avoid the temptation to pick up quests when wandering between zones my quest log rarely fills up to capacity.
This has been raised before, and if I remember correctly the more quests you have, the more it can impact loading times.
should put daily quests on a different counter than 'normal' quests. That would fix a lot of the issue where you have to drop a quest you're planning or halfway into to get for example your writ lol..

I’m not very technologically adept but I do often wonder how ESO performed so much better in 2015, with 100s more people in Cyrodiil, on older generation consoles but fast forward to 2025 you’re all making these changes to help with performance when we all play on far superior devices
As others have said I do think reworking how dailies are accounted for would make a HUGE difference to all this. If you do your crafting dailies, for instance, I can't remember if that's five or six quests that either have to fit in your journal or you have to do each crafting daily one at a time. It's quite mad.
and:With 6 companions now, their loyalty quests are really starting to clutter up quest journals. Especially on alts where many of us will never do more than the original acquisition quest.
Please give us a way to remove their loyalty quests from the list of 25 quests (which also needs to be expanded, OMG).
Perhaps under the "Let's talk about our partnership" companion conversation.
"Let's talk about that later, Companion" perhaps, to hide it from the log, and a "Hey, what was that about <Aurelia | your idiot brother | Brisha>?" to pick it back up and put it back in the log?
Every time I pull out my companions on my alts the quest pops up. And I have to go through taking it (especially annoying on Tanlorin, with that sparkling letter), and then abandoning it again. Or periodically deliberately lowering their rapport. Waste of time. I often just don't bother to pull them out, which kinda defeats the whole point of having companions.6 companions x 4 quests x 20 toons x 15 min per quest? Is roughly 96 hours.
