@ZOS_Kevin i would love to play some PVP , but until some changes are made to support pure class builds, well let’s just say PVP is no fun

Is the double XP only in pvp zones or is it the whole game outside of pvp too?

Only in PvP zones. From the article (emphasis added):

"Throughout the event, you can enjoy a massive 100% increase to Alliance Points, XP from PvP zones, and Tel Var Stone gains as well as special rewards when competing in ESO’s Alliance War, Battlegrounds, and Imperial City PvP modes."

Maybe a good idea to run atleast one vengeance/champions Cyrodiil and Imperial City campaign(with quests and event activated) during this mayhem. Even if only to see who goes 'live' pvp, and who would prefer vengeance/champions.

This would show how popular this mode really is, when it has to go up against the normal PvP.

PS: I personally preferred the first test, with only class skills.

Pelinal’s Boon Boxes can be collected by completing the following activities during this event:

Battleground quests from Battlemaster Rivyn
Scouting, Battle, Warfront, and Conquest Missions
Elder Scroll capture and recapture quests
Town quests in Vlastarus, Bruma, Cropsford, Cheydinhal, and Chorrol
Imperial City daily quests

So, Rewards for the Worthy will not contain Pelinal's Boon Boxes?

I think the last WSM did have event coffers in RftW, even though they weren't mentioned in the article, so hopefully that will still be the case this time.

I'm curious about the Tel Var. I seem to remember that the TV in the reward coffers for the daily district quests wasn't being doubled as people were expecting, but the current article doesn't specifically exclude them, so I'm interested to see whether those reward coffers are doubled or not. It wasn't an issue for me, because I enjoy running around in the sewers killing mobs and the stationary bosses, which did drop double TV. But I know players who limit their IC portion of the event to doing daily district quests were disappointed about it.

Edit: I didn't participate in the PTS testing for this WSM, so I don't know whether these questions can be answered by players who did test WSM on the PTS.

They were missing from the article in the last couple of mayhem announcements, sometimes they adjust the current article after asking about it here, but for new ones they seem to keep copy/pasting the text with that information missing.

If it's like those last times, yes they will be included.

@ZOS_Kevin @ZOS_JessicaFolsom Does the 39 tickets account for a maintenance outage? Last event was severely impaired. We should be able to earn tickets regardless of time zone. If not, players should be aware that maintenance could impact their ability to get tickets and other rewards. This has happened every event, so I'd expect and appreciate some proactive communication around this.

I can confirm from firsthand experience that (1) the Rewards for the Worthy do include an event reward coffer, and (2) the Tel Var in the reward coffers for Imperial City district dailies is not doubled.

With regard to the Rewards for the Worthy, I assume the mail messages must be opened during the event to receive any event reward coffers in the attachments.

Is it possible to get more than one page per day of this year's new style from boon boxes (as is the usual)? The writing of the article seems to suggest so, but I know from experience these articles aren't always the most accurate when it comes to event rewards and how/where to get them. (The one event this past year where they made it sound like the rewards you got depended on the zone you completed activities in, but it was actually all just one collective pool no matter where you were...)

With my RNG, I am usually having to do more Cyrodiil quests in order to get the one event style page to drop each day. So instead of 1 Imperial City quest and 1 Cyrodiil quest, it is taking me 1 Imperial City quest and up to 4 Cyrodiil quests in order to get the event tickets and the one event style page every day. YMMV.

And return a few styles too. The grab bag is far too crowded for any returning or new player. It's nearing 100 different items. The amount of event tickets you'd need to 'catch up' is actually insane.

Please get rid/remove some of the temporary campaigns. There is absolutely 0 reasons to keep all these empty campaigns open and spread out an already thin PvP population.

Please keep all of the temporary campaigns. I think that different players have different goals. My goal with Whitestrake’s Mayhem is to earn 3 event tickets and 1 event style page daily. And I deliberately login on the emptiest campaign I can find hoping that I can avoid the gankers/griefers while I do an Imperial City PvE quest and (usually multiple) Cyrodiil PvE quests to get those tickets and the style page. On PS/NA where I play, the Gray Host campaign has been full and even pop locked at times during this event, so players who want to PvP have that option, while players who want to get their tickets and style pages doing PvE quests have the temporary campaigns. Play as you want.
