Unfortunately, this is a widespread problem. It's not just ESO. Other games are experiencing the same issues. I've been keeping in touch on Discord with friends who play other games, and they're confirming that they're also experiencing stability issues. At this point, I think it's a problem with Tomcat and the released update but I don't know if ZOS uses that service.

I was trying to play today but seems that the game is down again.

This week I tried to play five times and in three of those five days the game was down.

That's really sad.

came to play the game, stayed for the drama. we can't go two whole days without a 15 hour maintenance or a 3 hour blackout. you gotta have one or the other or else is this even a game that makes millions of dollars every month...
funny thing is we are used to it at this point. and yeah, it is really sad.
and im looking at community manager replies to the posts here and one of them literally copy pasted from the other. like HUH? have some respect.

I am facing this issue now as well. It keeps throwing 201 error at me since today. Yesterday it just worked fine.

In general, ever since Solstice DLC was released, ESO started to cause many technical issues, which I didn't have before.

I even had to reinstall ESO from scratch, because after the DLC Release my launcher refused to start and a repair install didn't work.
ESO became choppy, my liquid cooled CPU (Intel Core i9 @ 3.50GHz) started to overheat brutally by just logging in or walking through Deeshan. My GPU was picking its nose...
ESO tends to freeze when I enter areas like Deeshan or Vivec City or get close to a Incurson in Gold Road. Sometimes it freezes so badly, that it affects my entire computer (win 11) and all I can do is a hard reset. And yes, all my drivers are up to date. And I am using a 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 and 64GB RAM.

Let's just say, I don't really have any issues like that with Games like Rust or Warhammer Darktide.

I had a problem with very LONG loading screens, but eventually the game worked through them. Five to ten minutes, usually. But then it got better by itself. I figured there were too many people trying to play at the same time, and it was slowing things down. Yesterday, I didn't have any trouble at all.
