will these two passives stack? the descriptions lack the necessary text for me to tell if they are considered major/minor buffs. they just read "increase..."
@kevin i'd say we need more cowbell in the descriptions...

You've had nature explained to you and you're bored with it, you've had the living body explained to you and you're bored with it, you've had the universe explained to you and you're bored with it, so now you want cheap thrills and, like, plenty of them....

What is cowbell? I've heard this phrase so many times lol.

But yes, any unnamed buff or passive will stack. Its only ones specifically called major/minor that dont stack with the same name. For example, Major Resolve from balance + major resolve from frost cloak dont stack. But the unnamed resistance buff from armor potions does stack with either of these.

And yes more usefully descriptive tooltips always better. Like crit chance rating. Wtf is a rating??? Just say crit chance or crit damage smh. So many wierd little things like that that all add up to a big headache.

Yes, both stack. The only times buff do not stack is if they are named, ie. Major X and Major X, and Minor y and Minor y.

I think this was a throwback to older ideas for how to explain percentages to players. The problem stems from lines like "Increase Crit Chance By 10%". If you already have a crit chance of 50% does that make it 55% or 60%? In other words: Is it increase by 5 percent or 5 percentage points?

There may have also been some factor when levels were different between monsters and the level difference affect your chance to crit on them. I guess they figured it would be easier for players to understand if the number stayed fixed for your character rather than floating around based on what enemy you attacked? All enemies are now max level and honestly, leveling characters itself is mostly superfluous and this feature is thus rendered vestigial at best.

Overall I agree though. The modern way UI/UX designers solve this is by simply using a "+" and "x" symbol to denote how the percentages are applies: "Crit Chance x5%" means increase by five percent. "Crit Chance +5%" means increase by five percentage points.
