In some locations this bug exists, and in some it doesn't. At the moment I have found a bug in the location Eastmarch, and Auridon.

No, not in all of them. In the Alik'r desert, when I break into other people's houses, no one reacts to me, but in other locations, they do. I got in, and they're already shouting at me from the doorway to leave) I need to keep looking.
In theory, they shouldn't react while I'm in stealth, that's wrong.

Seems like one of those things that might get fixed in another 10 years.3 -

✭I also just thought this was a leftover of base game zones before the Thieves Guild DLC and didn't pay it any mind. Newer DLC zones have actual "Trespass" functionality. But I didn't realize they don't do this in some base zones.1 -

IIRC, Vvardenfell has this bug too... though I guess that's technically base game now :P1 -
