In situations like this, it's most helpful to specify which patform and server you're having trouble logging in on, such as PC NA or PS EU. It would probably also be helpful to specify the part of the world you're trying to log in from, such as USA, Asia, UK, or Europe, in case the problem is due to heavy internet traffic or network outages between you and the server.
In any case, it sounds like you were able to get back in, so hopefully you won't have any more issues.
I was booted from PC EU server several times when I went through (well, into) loading screens. I could log back in immediately but it was happening at least five times in one hour (1 to 2 pm CEST).
Don‘t know what they did to the European servers but it‘s getting worse.
I have been booted from the server repeatedly this last week or so. I thought it was because I was in Vengeance a lot at first but the disconnects and internal server error preventing me getting back in has continued ever since. 3 times last evening. Once when moving zones, once at the final boss of Blackheart Haven (only 2 players including me there), and once at the vampire world boss in the caverns with only 2 of us there. Then tonight in Scrivener's Hall, 3 players and just dealing with a small group of enemies, not a boss fight.
None of these instances were what you would call busy or intense like Vengeance was when I disconnected there. But it is happening more and more frequently and taking longer and longer to get back into the game after being kicked out.
Around 8 hours ago, I had some troubles logging in too, mainly seeing errors like "Can't connect to game server" and "Unexpected Internal Error". Earlier I had played for like 3 hours with no lag or disconnection. Currently it's morning so I'll see how it goes again tonight.
