PvE overland with 24 player on Alik'r dolmens and 24 player in Imperial sewers and everywhere!!

    I can see them doing this in vengeance, but not current cyro.

    Would be super cool in PvE! I'd love to see ZOS implement MASSIVE roaming world bosses that take a ton of people like that!

    Vengeance should never be a permanent thing in the first place.

    24 man groups would be cool tho.
    Does anyone know, why they got removed in the first place?

    Yep we need this back, it's been so hard to organise guild events all these years. It was hard with 24, what are we supposed to do with only 12? Guilds have a 500 player limit.

    As a PvEer who only occasionally goes into Cyrodiil, the old groups of up to 24 used to welcome me as more fodder. When it changed to 12, there wasn't interest in bringing PvE slugs into the small groups since every group slot mattered more.

    Even though I don't really enjoy PvP, I admit that my first real experience capturing keeps was very positive. A big group brought me in and the group leader was awesome - offering me tips and even inviting me to join her PvP guild. I don't expect that would have happened with groups limited to 12.

    After it changed to 12, when I wanted to capture keeps, I had to watch the map and simply tag along with some group. Not as fun.

    I vaguely remember them saying something about "player behavior" as well as performance.
    Should go back to 24 man group.

    With vengeance, sure. But in a game with a pop cap of 80-100 players per faction? No thanks.
    As a PvEer who only occasionally goes into Cyrodiil, the ole groups of up to 24 used to welcome me as more fodder. When it changed to 12, there wasn't interest in bringing PvE slugs into the small groups since every group slot mattered more.

    I think what you're observing is just dramatically less interest in pvp than there used to be, resulting in far fewer pugs. Cyrodiil is largely populated by pve players now, not pvp gaming enthusiasts who are excited by the idea of strategy and tactics.

    Organized groups never want even a single poorly geared member because they represent a potential vd proc, regardless of size.

    before subclassing I would have agreed with the OP, but not anymore. 12 man groups are already way too strong. The downside is nobody wants newbies in such a small group, so newbies never get to go to PvP school.

    Since the June 25th maintenance performance has never been worse, in both PvP and PvE. Performance just keeps getting worse no matter how many times or in how many ways ZOS says their working on it.

    It's not published. No one outside of zos knows for certain although some people present their belief as such. It's all based on an addon and players have shown screenshots of around 100 players in a specific location. even considering the addon may not be 100% accurate, there were also players at the gate and at other locations on the map when the screenhots were taken.
