Screaming:- Has this issue been sorted please?

I started getting NEWS cant be updated but the game still ran.
Now the game wont run and Ive reinstalled tried alternate ways of starting up, deleted this folder, that file, blayh blah, you know the story.
But these two screens are predominant. What do I do to get back ionto the game please please?

Im exhausted reading inanely obscure solutions for other OS's and I dont know what to do?

I still cant log into the game and these windows dont make sense because Steam is quite capable of logging in and downloading to the point of three reinstalls.

Does anyone have any idea please?

ESO just doesnt seem able to log into the internet and I cannotf athom why. No friewalls nothing. Just cant log into the web to downl,oad what ti needs.

ESO just cant log into the internet and it doesnt matter whether I use direct or Steam launch. Same old same old?

Might be a update issue? Try using the Game consultant.

Open Launcher - Press the cog top left - press About - Game Consultant.
Should help check and fix any issues.

I have no Cog upper left, but the cogs that are right uper each dont have a system that can help and in the case of the actual launching window itself when I clock CLOSE after its told me it cant find a conectivity the entire pair of windows just self extinguish. So I dont get the chance even to use the GAME REPAIR thing.

im out of ideas.

Ive tried launching from both systems, direct and Steam,
Reinstalled three times.
Used three different ISP's.
Listed and entered all ports and exe's to be allowed AND all folders also
AND turned off all firewalls, uninstalled the antivorus,
Deleted the suggested folders and on and on.

Havent seen anything new yet. I use a nice DELL computer. A Good NVidea...Gigs or ram.... technically it has run for years fine on this computer and since the last update..................... DEATH.

Seems like you're just unable to connect to ESO's servers. If we can know your general geographic location, the server you're trying to connect to, and whether or not you're using a VPN, we might be able to help you more.

In any case, you should perform a traceroute to the ESO server you're trying to connect to to troubleshoot. Here's a support link for more info: https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/#en/answer/30903

Thankyou for replying.

Well, I havent seen anything new yet but I am literally just about to delete C drive, reformat, reinstall windows 11 and everything else with ESO.

This game is a distraction I cannot do without. Bleak without it. So it may be a while before I reply again, I will let you know.
I am just on last ditch ideas that it may be something windows has done thats disabled ESO's riddiculous ability not to see a connection.

Yes, Ive done this several times in fact my device at several satges had no protection at all abnd still the game didnt run. :-(

You're using the Steam version? Im sure you already have but did you try validating the game's file integrity thru Steam?

It's lowlit, says the game is using thrid party verification software or something.... :-) But thanks anyway for trying.

AS IT HAPPENS....
After 5 miserable days of trying the usual inane hunting and trying and hoping.........

I gave in, Admitted defeat...
I formatted C,
Reinstalled Windows 11.
Reinstalled by design softwares, and then......
Steam and then.........
ESO
And it purrs again

and I am alive in my world of distraction once more. So odd I tried SO MANY MANY things to make it work and it just didnt.
Never found out what suddenly changed to kill the game.

Thankyou to all those who tried to help.

Here ESO is more than a game. It preoccupies me in a world of miserable pain and fear and demise.
So it's very important to me to be able to find that wonderful spiritual feel of "not being here but 'there' instead."
It's a blessing that you dont know quite what that would feel like.

But I am riding my Leopards again down deserted shores in Tamriel.
