Is this sorcerer viable?

I like an easy PvE playstyle, and am thinking of making a sorcerer like this.

I don't know much about cold, and between lightning and fire, lightning seems fun.

The sort of one bar play I'd like might be: 1. spam damage 2. Prep 3. AoE damage 4. I forgot or maybe a DoT 5. heal

It should be about 'good at vet dungeons' level. Any gear or specific recommendations if it sounds viable?

Thanks. All the one bar sorcerers I found were 'heavy attack' builds. Is that the only viable option?

Sort of. The issue is that there is no really good shock damage spammable. So the heavy attack kind of replaces the spamm ability.

There are however fun builds that can use a scribed skill to proc the class script and the storm cursed set to have bomb like shock explosions in AoE.

You also have minimal bar space if you’re doing 1 bar. Using heavy attacks as your spammable grants you a bar space you can use for something else (like more damage) and also means you’ll consistently proc your enchant.
