Has anyone taken on Ganakton in Arx Corinium lately?

This used to be a breeze. Just dodge the attacks and mow it down with using an occasional break free.Now he freezes you in place, on the ground and on your back, inside of a green circle.You can't break free and before the "green ground effect" is over he keeps freezing you. You can not dodge this. You will be on the ground for a looooong time. If and when you do get free, it lasts less than 2 secs before you're down again. Was this change added as a feature or is it a bug?

✭It seems to have occurred since update 46.
Ganakton The Tempest perma-stuns.
It's lightning attack perma-stuns with no ability to break free or get more then one skill off before being stunned a second time, occasionally re-stunning before the stun timer runs out.
I now have to wait until my companion slowly grinds down the monster.

✭✭✭✭✭I just went into Arx Corinium to see for myself, and now I'm stuck. I'm too tanky for him to kill me so I can't die and run away while rezzing, I can't break free (despite what the prompt says) and can't dodge-roll free once the game finally lets me up again so I just immediately get knocked back down, /stuck won't work because I'm stuck in combat, I can't port out to a house or wayshrine, and I hadn't summoned a companion before starting the fight so now I can't summon one to help.
Update: I was finally able to run away when the green circle disappeared, and thought maybe I could leave the area and reset the boss, but he kept stunning me so it was very slow going because I had to keep trying before I could finally go back through the tunnel. Except... as soon as I got away, "joining encounter in progress" popped up and I was ported right back to the fight. I finally shut down the game and I'll log back in after a few minutes to see what happens.
2nd update: After shutting down the game, waiting, and logging back in, the dungeon has reset so I'm free. I might try again later with a Companion, but I don't need to do the dungeon so that's not very likely. I experienced that this morning. I really, really hope it's a bug. I can't believe the devs would add a feature that makes gameplay more miserable. You can still solo the boss with a decent companion, but it takes a while, and being forced to lie there while your companion whittles down the boss is NOT fun.6 -
ThundertigerSoul ShrivenI just noticed this myself. It's a 30 second countdown which even has some text pop up saying to use Break Free but you simply cannot use it at all. I had switched over to a bow to try and stay away from him during combat but he would still be able to hit me with it. Multiple times even.. He would hit again before the first timer would run out. I have attached a screenshot. You can see the text mentioning using Break Free which is sadly hiding behind the AUI combat icons.
The countdown timer is the last icon on the right with the red outline

Yeah, you get the prompt to break free, but you can't do anything. And when it finally stops, he hits you pretty much right away and down you go again. I have to believe it's a bug.1 -

It isn't. It even tells you to break free to get out of it. It's gotta be a bug

Malkosha✭✭✭I checked today and this still wasn't fixed. With a companion and my Necro being able to cast 1 skill (Skeletal Arcanist) I was able to move on but it took a looooong while.
Please fix this in the next incremental patch. Thanks!0 -

YORKSHIRE76✭✭✭Xbox eu it is still broken, tried it with just me and a companion (on vet) about 10 mins ago. No joy. Perma stunned.

Of course it's still broken, consoles have their update on august 20th.0
