Vengeance NB Cloak

Anyone else kinda like the Vengeance version of the NB Cloak? Initially, it felt stupid that I couldn't remain cloaked, but I found the addition of the heal made it a lot more useful in the middle of fights. I found myself using it more like a burst heal with the bonus of cloaking rather than as a cloak with the bonus of a heal. Even if I was immediately removed from cloak, I still got the heal from it, so using it was never really a waste.

    I'll be real, kinda wild that it's one of the few (the only?) Vengeance abilities that retained both effects of both morphs.

    And people wonder why people say there's a nightblade bias.

    NBs felt a fair bit better than everyone else in 1v1, for sure. Was really the only outlier I took note of, in that regard.

    I know the point of Vengeance wasn't balancing the classes let alone for dueling, but it was a decent amount of advantage. While I personally hope the Template stuff doesn't ever become the norm for PvP, if it becomes even a single permanent Campaign, I'd like to think there will be a decent amount of effort in that direction.

    I think this points out a more overarching design concept. Maybe the skills should be more complete, but morphs only add other mechanical changes. For example something like vigor instead of being drastic differences, something along the lines of:

    Heals you for X and group members for Y within 5m range. one morph would increase the range by 5m while the other increased the heal for yourself slightly.

    compared to how polarized the current morphs are to the point where you are useless doing one form of gameplay to the next.

    It really needs a shield added along with a beam of some sort, NB's always get the short end of the stick, sigh....

    This is a lingering complaint from the first test.

    It's imbalanced enough that there is a heal on cloak, but to make a full sized burst heal (the heal on cloak is stronger than sorcs matriarch self heal, like wtf) on top of no reliable counter to cloak (flare was still meh, even with vengeance tests much slower speed) and an absurdly short cooldown (did ZOS mix up the cooldown of surge and cloak, was cloak cooldown supposed to be 6 seconds while surge supposed to be 4?), has made cloak the most broken ability in the whole of vengeance. Even DK chains, while frustrating being pulled back into a zerg, is still tolerable for a duel or small scale battle, cloak as it is in vengeance is just absurd.

    Even taking into account that vengeance is not supposed to be balanced, as it is a stress test for performance, the version of cloak that was implemented in vengeance just screams blatant favoritism/bias. Such blatant over the top favoritism/bias that should never happen within a professional development team working on a massive triple A game based on a hugely popular IP.

    They want NB Cloak to be a tank skill.
    I think Vengeance NB Cloak is close to what they want.
