On ESOUI shinni has said it's a playstation issue, apparently ZoS is investigating as its not an issue on his end it's a game issue. So hopefully they'll fix it before 2026

I think you do not need to add more examples, as it's known and no addon bug as it seems.
The textures are sometimes not loaded properly.
Wait for a fix of ZOs please and update your addons regularly if there is an update by Shinni ;)

At least those red and blue rectangles improve visibility too :p

I'm on Series X and suddenly this add-on just stopped working. I've re-installed it, deleted the variables, set it to defaults. and did a full uninstall and re-install. Any ideas?

And what does "stopped working" mean, any more details?

Is the addon showing ingame in the manager? Which version is shown?
Is the addon settings menu shown and working?
Is the addon adding any map filters and are tehy enabled (e.g. ore, or wood)?
Is the addon showing any pins on the map for the enabled filters?

or what exactly is the issue?

I don't know if this is the "stopped working" issue mentioned above, but in my case, I'm finding add-ons are somehow being un-installed automatically. I use just two add-ons at the moment, Lazy Writ Crafter, and Harvest Map Pins on PS. Every few days I have to re-install one or the other. Maybe this is expected behavior for when the add-on is updated to a newer version? I haven't really looked into it.

I heard that might happen if multiple users play on the same console, with e.g. different @account names.
If @account1 logs out and @account2 logs in (and some addons differ for the 2 accounts) the addons of @account1 might get uninstalled automatically.

I do not know the details, if you need to reboot the console to make that happen, or if it's simply possible while logging in and out etc. But the ZOs addon contacts told us this might be a bug they are investigating:
If you log in and have mods installed that you are not subscribed to, they will be uninstalled. Not sure how it would behave with multiple accounts on the same console
-> This was relating to a PS5 btw.

So maybe, if multiple users play ESO on the same console, subscribe all users to the same addons and only deactivate the ones you do not need at each user then (should keep them installed and updated for all properly then).

No it's not an expected behavior. Out-of-date add-ons don't just uninstall themselves.

From AI response (I googled your issue):

"If you're experiencing this, it's likely due to one of these reasons: a problem with the game's file integrity, issues with your console's storage, or potentially a conflict with other add-ons or game files

    Here's a more detailed breakdown:

    Possible Causes:
    - Game File Corruption:
The game's files, including those related to add-ons, might have become corrupted. This can happen during updates or due to various other issues.
    - Storage Issues:
If your console's storage is full or experiencing errors, it could affect how the game manages add-on files.
    Add-on Conflicts:
    - Sometimes, different add-ons might conflict with each other, leading to unexpected behavior, including the removal of one or more add-ons.
    - Console Updates/Installs:
If you're frequently canceling or interrupting console updates, it can sometimes lead to game files being partially uninstalled or corrupted.

    Troubleshooting Steps:
    1. Check for Game Updates:
Ensure that your ESO client is up-to-date. Outdated versions can have issues with add-on management.
    2. Verify Game Files:
Use the console's built-in tools to verify the integrity of the game files. This will detect and attempt to fix any corrupted files.
    3. Free up Storage Space:
Make sure your console has enough free space for the game and its add-ons. If you're close to capacity, try deleting some unused games or files.
    4. Disable Add-ons:
Temporarily disable all add-ons and then re-enable them one by one to see if a specific add-on is causing the issue.
    5. Reinstall Add-ons:
If you suspect a specific add-on is the problem, try uninstalling and reinstalling it.
    6. Reinstall the Game:
If all else fails, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the entire game. This will ensure a clean installation of all game files.
If the problem persists, it's recommended to contact ESO support or the console manufacturer for further assistance.

That very well could be the case then as I have four different accounts I log in on on the same PS5. I had the same thought about it being multi-account related so I did install the same add-ons across all accounts. I even tried making sure the settings were the same, but I do use per-character settings on Lazy Writ Crafter. I thought that had done it after going three days or so without issue. Then yesterday Lazy Writ Crafter was uninstalled on my main account, after having just used it on a previous account.

Did you subscribe to the addons? I guess that's done at the ZOs console addon manager tool/website? Not sure what and where exactly to do that sorry.

I haven't seen anything, anywhere about "subscribing" to anything. Just "Manage My Add-Ons" and "Browse Add-Ons". I just assumed it was normal ZOS confusication and by subscribe they meant select and install. The screens and instructions in this article are pretty much it, and the "Manage..." screen just lists which add-ons (and libs) are installed and allows you to enable/disable.

@redlink1979 I don't want you to think I'm ignoring your reply. I've read through it all and it's just that it's doubtful that any of that is the case. It's a two week old PS5 Pro, completely up-to-date system software, plenty of drive space, and a fresh ESO install (not copied over from the old PS5). I do think it has something to do with the multi-user aspect. I'm on day 2 without having had to reinstall, so we'll see how it goes. The only reasons I mentioned the add-on update as a possible issue is that the last time it happened I noticed there had been an update just the day before after I'd stopped playing for the day. I hadn't looked at when the last update was the previous times it happened.

Ok thanks for the info. I think you can see the addons on a website too, this one:
    https://mods.bethesda.net/en/elderscrollsonline/all

-> But you actually do not install them there, it's just an overview!
It got some way to subscribe to them there but that would not make sense as the instaleld once should matter... (I hope ;) ).

Thanks for that @Baertram I hadn't seen it the few times I've been on the site. I can certainly subscribe with my main account, but unfortunately none of the other three accounts on the PS5 have Bethesda.net login accounts.

Edited to add: It seems the site is already tied to the console. When I hover over the add-ons I already have installed the "+" is now a "-" with a tooltip that says "unsubscribe". So it must be a part of the process that automatically happens when installing from the console itself.
