Donating to a beggar doesn't progress Zerith-Var's achievement

As title said, I have done it twice now (have video of doing it as I recorded the second try for safety). I donate to a beggar, but it doesn't progress the Zerith-Var's Favor Achievement. It's so difficult to find a beggar in the first place, this is mildly frustrating.

✭Even more difficult to find a beggar that will accept your generosity!
I had the same issue. I was on my main character that I have done most of my questing with and went to the spots listed in the wiki for beggars, but could not get any interaction. I switched to a storage alt character and got the achievement done instantly. My thought was that maybe I'd already interacted with the beggars on my main and it wasn't re-triggering them, but the new character triggered it. Just a thought, could have been coincidence, but worth a try. Good luck.

✭✭✭✭✭I remember someone posted here a while back saying the couple under the bridge in Davon’s Watch works, and it did for me.

Lavellan✭✭✭Unofrtunately I tried with two other characters, in various locations and also that couple in Davon's Watch. The latter doesn't work if you had already completed the achievement.
Update: I just realised that the Beg-In-Wilds NPC is only added during Zenithar. It's still a beggar so I think it's reasonable that it should also work but it doesn't.
