Log in rewards - need remaking

So recently i got already 45 instant research scrolls or others which i dont need...

the log in reward system need to change for something better and have remake as it is really bad most of the time i have "DESTROY" the item like crown chicken or potions unless its 3 stat potion...

please zenimax remake it for better... or make each day give you choice of reward out of two...

like can you squize some items that are not bound to account and can be sold...

like Motif pages, more skins or pets/mounts, More Gold/AP/Telvar, more Gold Materials, something different something not repeating every month... XP scrolls are always good but every single month the same...
I will always need for more classes in the game... Monk Kung Fu Khajit - with martial art staff and straw hat, Alchemist - throwing bombs and potions , Bard as support rather then healer, and Arificer and Arifact collector of alyed and dwemer ruins

Keep it as is, but add the ability to choose either the item or 1 crown gem (or whatever equivalent of Seals of Endeavor would be)

1 crown gem ? XD really just 1 ? xD

well not really because u dont need garbage that you throw away - it need replacment with items that actually players would find usefull all the time and be able to use not something they do not need anymroe after maxing

Well 1 is the safest amount without causing ZoS to change the crate items drop rates/prices/gem conversion change without being absolutely useless.

It only takes like 16 gems to get lower tier crate cosmetics. If you had the option to get 10 every day, prices would definitely be adjusted.

i never said every day, but at least once a week, instead same items every month, could be also together with Transmute crystal chunk and maybe more gold or ap more often

The daily rewards as they are now really help out new players and players with new characters. That we get anything at all just for logging in should be appreciated. I would like to be able to accept or destroy the reward from that screen instead of accepting it then going to inventory to destroy.

GW2 had an almost perfect login reward system, a list of rewards that progressed based on your actual logins rather than the date. if you took a prolonged break after getting the "day 15" reward, you got the "day 16" reward when you came back a year later. Of course it was a bit repetitive and full of stuff vets just deleted...

So now there is an endeavours like system and instead of getting gold, mats and unwanted newbie stuff just for logging in, players now have to do repetitive, boring and mildly annoying chores to earn currency for a new shop were the same stuff from before is sold, but at least you now can choose which items you actually want. (To be fair, there are some very good items added every quarter, but the currency is capped and once you got all the special stuff, it's back to buying mats and gold.)

So... take what is given and smile, then silently trash what you don't want. If you complain, you might have to work for your "gifts" in the future...

Yes, this is a much better system. Feels more like you are actually being given a gift regardless of how often or intensively you play, as opposed to being FOMO'ed into driving up login metrics.

We used to get endeavors in login rewards. They stopped a while back. (2025 maybe?) Guess it was too good.

We're back to crown drinks and poisons. Least we still get gold mats and inks

Very true, people assume if changed it would get better but it most likely would get worse.

The rewards aren’t terribly exciting this month but I gladly take all and use (most of) them.

The rewards are plenty good but it would be great if we had a way to trade-in certain daily rewards for Crown Gems like the instant research scrolls.

I've written a post related to housing the other day and spoke about daily rewards, among other things.
Once there were interesting items in this daily rewards calendar, and the most valuable one I've ever seen was Murkmire, the complete DLC (seriously ZoS ? :D).

I have several characters but they're all high level and completed the crafting skill lines and research (except Nirncrux, which is very gold-consuming), so... research scrolls, nah.
To be honest, I too am bored when I see this grid, consumables, materials, some currencies (telvar stones and AP)... from time to time a pet or a mount (but I'm not into aesthetic things)... I've love to see, I don't know, a small house, or even furnishings. Or at least, furnishing materials. I have tons of improving mats, they're just filing my bank for no reason.

I think the golden pursuits system has largely replaced the nicer login rewards, so I'm not sure I'd expect them to improve or otherwise put much further thought into login rewards at this point.

as long as its not the same items or make those items not bound but sellable those scrolls or something or put on those specific scroll choice instead of scroll or two other items

I'd be happy with a nominal amount of gold. The fact is, if I can't use it then it's worth nothing to me, so if I got some gold instead that would be great.

If the daily login rewards were part of the ESO+ package, I'd be annoyed.
Since they are free, I basically don't care a whole lot. I'm happy for the occasional free mat and some currency.

Overall, I am OK with the daily login rewards. Some of them I keep (gold, tel var, AP), others I delete (crown refreshing drinks). Free stuff works for me.

I shouldnt complain because its free stuff for just login into the game but one thing they need to cut down on are crafting scrolls, Drinks, poisons and potions people dont use.

What they need to increase are the stuff people actually use in game food, tri pots, xp scrolls, currency.

The daily reward system dont need much rework it just need to get rid of the items people dont use.

I like the idea of giving people choices. It would also provide a lot of data about player preferences.

To keep the UI clean, it could just be that each day you could either select the presented prize or choose from a small list of minor prizes (like furnishing mats or small amounts of currency). The main issue is that some of the current rewards are doomed to be destroyed, so getting ANY value would be a relief.

Lets just add a reject button to each daily login. Instant delete instead of instant accept.

Can you imagine ESO's first years were completely without daily login rewards. A whole cluster of problems less to fuss about. Those were the good old times....

I would also like to add that I would love it if they gave the ability to turn in the stuff we don't want for crown gems. Doesn't even have to be a lot.

I have like 10+ stacks of the tri-restoration potions, because I simply don't do the content that uses them. I hate the idea of just destroying them, because they *might* come in handy at some point, and Iknow that being able to sell them or even just give them away is not going to happen.

Giving the ability to turn them in for one gem would at least still give me *something* on those days that have rewards I am not likely to ever use.

I honestly can't fathom this topic. Why would we even expect to be rewarded for merely logging in, and how can the rewards not be good enough?

I understand why zos does it, but I can't imagine thinking they're not good enough, especially if a player is logging in anyway.

As was previously noted, an option to discard would be nice for the items I'm just going to destroy. In the bigger picture, I'd love just to disable daily rewards because I dislike the popup.

I like playing games, not getting free stuff from login rewards and gift boxes. I feel many players have lost sight of why they started playing games, especially one like this, in the first place.

I think those unhappy will always be unhappy because eventually the status quo won't feel rewarding and they'll want more. Adding more options wouldn't cover all bases and leave someone else feeling deserving of something that suits them.

It's an incentive structure that often fails to incentivize. The perceived value of the rewards is *the only thing* that is important in this context.
