While in combat, completing a fully-charged Heavy Attack grants you Major Force, Major Berserk, or Major Courage for 12 seconds

Can someone at ZOS confirm that these dungeons will be available at launch for crowns? It was implied in this Q&A but not mentioned in the post or stream. I understand keeping it vague to push sales but there are many of us who rely on crown-purchasable dungeons to keep groups together.

Surveys already stack, so how is that new? or are they going to work like master writs do now?

it'll likely be a Survey container for each profession. Similar to Master Writs, that way you will only have 7 Surveys banked until you decide to open them.

Hopefully, the ability to collect multiple resource maps from a single point will soon be added to the stackable surveys, otherwise this change will make almost no difference to those who collect a lot of maps.

What about existing surveys? Khajiit has some* he's been keeping for a rainy day, or his retirement. -sigh- probably the same thing as with the writs. -sigh-

*and by some khajiit means roughly 14,250 surveys..

Awesome QoL with the surveys and visions!

    Some more space related QoL:
1: Stacking similar transmute crystal geodes and/or unlimited transmute storage for ESO+ members.
2: Make filled soulgems an accountwide currency similar to archival fortunes, or place these in the ESO+ crafting bag.
3: Stack every stackable to atleast 10.000, like repair kits and PvP repair kits and potions and everything else.
4: "Master lockpick" in collections for completing the thieves guild. So we no longer have to carry around lockpicks.
5: Stack poisons to 100.000, or unlimited.
6: Unknown treasure map holder, similar to unknown master writs.

PS: Not space related, but please place a furniture vault at every banker everywhere.

Just do the same as I do, complete the existing surveys once the new stacking system goes live.

Edit: Edited in some more space savers.

Same, and agree it”s likely to go the same way as Writs. 😮‍💨 I’ll try to prioritize the existing ones whenever there’s a ‘loot X of Y resource’ Endeavor until they’re cleared out.

I hope you guys are actually working on something BIG for ESO, because only taking this leap of faith I could accept these thin updates!

Right now I don't see the game going in any direction. I am playing since the beginning. So, being familiarized with all the systems, I find the state of most systems literally confusing.

Subclassing is great in theory, but in practice it really cancels class identity and thinking outside the box to make up for your class limitations. When everything is possible, you are tempted to try everything and nothing, since it is easier to go for the meta builds, like always.

Why did we bother with scrying? Now it's free for all, which is a good move, but it just shows lack of direction.

Crafting is a very neglected system. There are so many sets that are mostly useless. None needs to craft those, except for vouchers, which have very limited use.

My biggest issue is with crafting furnishings, which is a whole system in the crafting system. I wonder how many devs are really into housing and are trying to figure out which crafting bench to use for a furnishing, and in which of the confusing categories to look for the desired item. Do I need a clothing or woodworking station for this couch? Will it be in the suite or dining section? Or is it courtyard? I would be happy without any new houses for a year, if you could make a furnishing crafting table with a search bar. How many hours would that require compared to making 3-4 houses? Want the crowns from those houses? Make the crafting table cost crowns, and am sure that all the housing players will buy it. Why do we have so many collectibles like pets or NPCs if we can't place only a very limited number in a house? Why have these huge housing spaces if we can't fast travel to various areas or choose a 2nd entrance? Etc etc

These are just a few pain points in the game. I am disappointed after watching this stream, (which was more like an internal teams meeting than a presentation for players), that I haven't heard any mention of the important issues. This Solstice chapter is something for us to be busy while you work on the big stuff, this is how we were told, and for the love of this game I hope it's true.

The game is great, but it looks like a garden which needs more gardeners! I can't imagine what a new player might feel! Dealing with all the confusing and overlapping systems, tons of content which can be completed in any order without consequence (this is good and bad too), overlapping events with FOMO styled rewards.

Khajiit does not think you understand him. He was not exaggerating about how many surveys he had...

    dyiw6ocqdw2s.png

This one had long anticipated some move on the part of the dev team to improve how surveys were handled - to be honest, the expectation was that they'd be added to the craft bag - so khajiit held on to 3 out of every 4 he received over the past 8 or 9 years. One thing then led to another...

To be honest, they have become his retirement investment - his 401k-hajiit plan, if you will - for when claws get dull.

Actually... to me it feels like there are too many gardeners, each making decisions for their little section. No one is laying out what the whole garden should look like.

And, for Update 47, many of them are on vacation and not working in the garden.

I do understand, as I have around 150-200 of every survey. Not sure how many zones there are, but that is 6 crafts times every zone times 150. Which is probably around double your number. hehe.

Just do them stack by stack over time. You do not have to rush to complete them all.
  • LoneWandererBud
stackable master writs aren't really helpful because you have no idea what set it is, how many writ vouchers, etc. until you open it, and then it's immediately not stackable (you can't peek and keep it generic)

in the same way, stackable surveys will also not be helpful because you won't know what zone they are for

I'll continue to keep my surveys in my housing containers, and do them when I have a bunch for a specific zone

    mount swimming is cool though

There are 31 possible stack types/locations per profession. Khajiit would like to see an official count - this one loves to see fellow hoarders and their wealth :) Do you have inventory insights?

Edited my previous reply to add some more space savers. Not sure how hard these would be to implement.

Does swimming have any impact on a mount's speed?

No, I do not have inventory insight. But I did notice I miscalculated somewhat, as I thought most of my stacks were between 150 and 200, but it is more like between 50-150. So I have about the same amount of surveys as you. See below screenshots of alchemy and blacksmithing, the other professions have about the same amounts. Ofcourse newer zones have fewer surveys as they are new, but it seems to be well over 2k per craft, so for 6 professions that is atleast 12k surveys total. You are welcome to count them if you are bored! :sunglasses:

@ZOS_Kevin Hey so is there going to be any support for players who don’t want to subclass.
I have no interest in sub classing and obviously in the case of PVP I am at a huge disadvantage so what will be the balance changes to help out players as I’m sure I’m not the only one who want to use the pure class lines playstyle
