To clarify, are you talking performance as in framerate on your pc, or latency (net lag)?

This is absurd. We have an event. 188 in the queue. Do they really thing we are total moron s to wait this long to play a video game. We pay a monthly fee, then we wait in a queue, to only have a privilege of playing this game,. What total...

Vengeance performance is clearly worse than the last test. I was at the last test's peak chalman fight for what felt like hours with only fps issues. The current test is already pausing and crashing out in fights of probably half the playerbase I saw at chal. PCNA new england region

What changed?

My best bet is the addition of the restostaff aoe hots and ground hots. Not a surprise to anyone that stacking overtime effects, aoe, and smart healing system are causing issues. We have only been complaining about these for a decade now.

90% of people in pvp wont be able to tell if their dots/hots stack or not.... so might aswell go the performance route and prevent stacking. This also soft limits how strong winning by numbers fights are won by default, which is the main complaint of vengeance group combat.

100 man zerg players do not need 30 hots on them. Drastically limiting who can heal who is only logical from a performance standpoint. Simply put there needs to be inefficient morphs only on SOME skills specifically for out of group heals. You must actively choose the far less efficient morph if you want to heal outside of your own group.

Is smart healing really necessary? Perhaps it should only be on a few select morphs. This falls in line with the concept of simplifying skills. Maybe aoe skills should being unlimited and restricted to group members without smarthealing is better than an aoe heal that smartheal checks 12 players and then only heals 2 of them.

I think Live is just at a singularity point where every skill has some buff aspect to it, and smart heals, and does damage, and cc's, and does an aoe, and does passives, and has a timer.......and procs..... and.... AND.............. where does it end?

Can't say that has been my experience. The server itself has been rock solid the entire time regardless of fights. I do think that the network traffic might be slightly higher than before and that is probably not helping much though. Depending on routing and data loss over the wire, an increase in network traffic could cause noticeable issues.

What server are you on? Even outside of pvp there have been issues on PS EU this afternoon

Even capped at 3, heal stacking presents problems to both balance and performance. Cap it at 1.

Yesterday prime time on PC NA performance was WORSE than normal live Cyrodiil.

I noticed a distinct drop in performance with last wednesday's maintenance actually. But this version of vengeance performance is very much worse than the first "test".
