I missed a Patch Note, since when did Arctic Blast's Heal get nerfed?

I only just now found out the Heal from Arctic Blast no longer applies if the damage from the AoE hits an enemy. I'm running around like a chicken in a particularly dmg heavy mob pull wondering why I'm not healing at all. Laying on the ground I read the tooltip again and saw the "If no enemies are hit, you heal for X Health."

Arctic Blast was my Ice Mage's ONE self heal in my setup, and now it's not even reliable anymore? I'm gonna have to find another source now.

That was some time last year iirc. The other morph is still the same though.

The issue is the other morph doesn't do damage (and it definitely shouldn't either) but it's too strange.

It's really not helpful to have a heal that only works with no enemies nearby. I guess there are others, like scythe or Inhale, but those are meant as only close-range abilities.

Depending on what fits for you frost-wise, there's:

- Healing/Warding Soul for solo play (might hit someone else in a group)
- Vibrant Shroud, a sort of healing mist. Could be a bigger heal than Arctic Blast with the Blood Magic passive included
- Surge (if a bit of lightning is on-theme) and Hurricane
