Low key furniture as loot from crown crates: Seriously?!?!?

I am highly dissatisfied by the decision to now add really simple furniture to the clutter one can get from crown crates. This further dilutes the chances to get some of the more valuable items from the crates for the same money.

For what I have seen these furniture items can be crafted when having gotten some of the very easy to get low quality furniture blueprints.

Up to now my master crafter could have crafted ALL of that trash furniture stuff.

the Ancient Nord furnishings are not craftable. they were previously only available from the Tyrants of the Merethic Era furniture pack.

please fact check next time

Except that crown crates HAVE (<---not yelling, emphasising) included craftable furniture from the game, I mean BASE (<---not yelling, emphasizing) crafting recipies.

The OP is not incorrect. This round of crates might have uncraftable furnishing items in them, but previous ones did not. And they prefaced this with the line "Up to now my master crafter could have crafted ALL of that trash furniture stuff."

The furnishings in the current crates are not crafted items. I imagine they are of value to some players who are interested in housing. I mean personally when I look at that reward tier, I'd rather get one of the furnishings than another pet or face marking to add to my collection of hundreds that will never be used. I guess it depends on the player. And unlike the pets and face markings and such, they can at least also be turned into gems.

It's true that the previous crates did have basic crafted furnishings, which drew a lot of complaints, and I'm glad zos seems to have at least responded to that.

There are some special furnishing items like there have always been. These furnishing items had alway a link to the crate theme. Others that you can get are simple furnishing stuff. And that is annoying.

This does not say I don't see your point but one has to consider that while the furnishing items I am referring to are easy to get and cheap in guild stores. No need to waste real money on crown crates. While having these items that can be very easily obtained in game dilute the probability to get stuff that you cannot obtain other than by buying crates or using gems that you got from crates.

I also don't want them ever adding crafted furnishings (or ones that can easily be obtained on a guild trader / in-game) to crates again, for sure. I guess the confusion for some of us is that there are no such items in the current crates, but again I do agree with the general complaint.

Now i see i overlooked "up to now". Thanks for the correction, please don't yell with the all caps.

This happened once before with the previous crates. 4 craftable furnishings in one crate, once.

i understood the complaints for those furnishings in the Carnaval crates before, but that is not the current crate anymore and thus i am confused why there's a complaint post now.

It would be better when opening a thread about something, to directly link the items in question - to avoid uncertainty, and some... not entirely kind answers and subsequent exchanges, not to mention deviation in the thread.

Just saying, I don't want to point fingers or anything, and I understand that including sources and materials in a thread / an answer can be a bit tedious, but in the end having a clear, complete and unambiguous basis upon which to discuss can be very precious.

And I'm gonna be honest, I'm not going to go search myself to see who's right or wrong, so - if OP is right, it's indeed a shame, if he's not, it's indeed a shame - but on him.

I have no idea which items OP is referring to, but someone earlier requested actual links and sources so I offered some information about the furnishing items in the current crates.

I think we're all confused because no one seems to agree on which items or crates OP is complaining about.

But there are no crafted furnishing items in the current Akatosh vs Alduin crates. The previous Carnaval crates had old base-game crafted argonian and wood elf furnishings, and if that's the complaint... then I agree, those should never have been in a crown crate.
