REVERT Nightblade CLOAK Back to its Original state

Please change cloak back to the way it was. As of right now there is no point in playing nightblade in PVP. Cloak is like Streak is for Sorc's. But now you've changed it to where its just unplayable or for better words not fun at all. Its not fun anymore. So now since you took away the evasiveness of nightblade you should nerf Streak on Sorcs to cost like 12k magicka per streak so they cant get away either. Its only fair right? Why in the world would you change cloak like this for, it was the defining ability that made a nightblade what it is. Now its just pointless to play it.

Because players complained about it, as they are too lazy to slot detection pots.

Bring back 45sec detect pots and you have a deal.

If you can't kill a nightblade with the current detection pot duration, then 45 secs won't change anything.

It is still playable but for me, at least, requires boosting mag regen. This of course reduces your damage stats, which might be the complaint of the OP.

Also it is annoying to have to toggle it on and off and it is easy in combat to click it off,and it doesn’t come off, then suddenly you have no magicka. So you constantly have to watch it.

With sufficient regen you can still sit in stealth but you can’t run around in stealth, and since the “detected” bug is still around, this is more challenging than it used to be
3 GOs, a Warlord, and bunches of prefects etc-- all classes...I've wasted a lot of time in PVP

Okay hear me out. Buff Rushing Agony so that wearing it also permanently reveals every invisible player on the map at infinite radius. To make it balanced, you also reveal yourself. You can keep Rushing Agony if we do this. Deal?

Agreed! It's a win-win for me. I don't use cloak and I can target-pull all those invis too!

Go ahead and make the development happen already B)

Since we now have subclassing, why aren’t more players using this supposedly "OP" skill? You’d expect Cyrodiil and IC to be packed with players exploiting it, but instead, I’m seeing more Nightblades skipping cloak and running... Streak! :D It’s a killer combo: Assassination + Storm Calling + whatever fits your style, like Animal Companion or Grave Lord.

Sure, Assassination could use some nerfs, but that’s a whole different discussion. As for cloak? Even the old version probably wouldn’t see much use compared to the current one, which is so weak that hardly anyone bothers with it when there are far better, more reliable options out there.

People don't skip on the Shadow skill line because Cloak is weak, they skip on the Shadow skill line because everything else about the skill line is weaker than other options as a whole. You're essentially forgoing a class ultimate by picking it (because dear god that ult is garbage), the passives are decent but not nearly as good as the Assassination passives, and for PvP you really just don't have the barspace to use more niche abilities like Shade this patch.

Assassination being a near must-pick prevents people from using Shadow, since you can only grab one line from Nightblade.

It boils down to exactly this point right here.

Assassination is a must pick for literally every single build in the game (both PvE AND PvP) that wants to deal damage, so unless the base class was already a NB, then the shadow line is going to be ignored because it's directly competing with Assassination for that 1 sub-class slot that other classes can get from NB.

O how I long to live in the timeline where Necromancer has multiple while slotted on either bar passive buffs, great cc, great mobility, great execute, great combat reset ability that works defensively and offensively, great passive recovery/healing combo, double Stalking Blastbones, and double Major Vuln on Colossus so I can come to the forums and ask for more buffs on Necromancer.

No point in playing NB? Before U46 half the players were NB or Sorc, after U46 half the players are still NB or Sorc and the other half have Assassination and/or Storm Calling slotted. Don't worry though even if they don't say it your interests are VERY well represented on the dev team. If someone wants a PTS Bingo sheet "More NB buffs" is a good space filler, another good one would be "Change that messes up an aspect of Necromancer".

"No changes to RoA" is the Free space.

    Grave Robber - Robbed
    Harmony - Shattered
    Stalking Blastbones - Sacrificed
    Corpse Consumers - Buried

Agree that assassination is OP and needs to be nerfed, but my point is that more NBs prefers now using Storm Calling tree over Shadow (my self included). It's very refreshing to use skill that actually works 100% time in 1vX scenarios. Not to mention that storm calling buffs damage even more.
