I don't have an ESO routine that's disrupted by the maintenance, and I don't mind missing daily log in rewards and endeavours. The forums though are a different story... *clutches ESO forums lest they be taken down as well*

I could have picked 3 options, it runs from 5am to 11pm my time so I was asleep and I'll be at work for a lot of it, and will hopefully be asleep again when it ends, but the important part is the 6pm - 10pm section which is when I'd normally play ESO.

I'll be playing Guild Wars 2, which can do maintenance and updates without taking the servers offline, like most online services do these days. I don't know why shutting down for maintenance is still accepted in MMOs.

I’m SUPPOSED to be looking for a new job. I strongly suspect that my wife organised this extra long maintenance window so I wouldn’t have any excuses today.

Also I don't know if it's intentional or not but on the PTS, if you don't own Solstice, you can still create a pre-made character that spawns in Solstice and quest there, to try out the new content.

This wasn't possible before, as you needed to own the season pass to try Solstice when it was in testing.

That actually convinced me to buy it as I was very skeptical.

I put play other games as that was my intention......

However the the new bouncy, squeaky ball's that we ordered for our 8 month old Husky arrived so we have spent an enjoyable few hours teaching him to catch!

He spent his first 6 months shut in a very small garden with his mum, dad and sister, consequently he is still lacking very many skills that you would expect a young dog to have.

Up until today he has had no idea about how to catch a ball, so we ordered some slightly bigger ones..... he mastered catching pretty quickly using them, it is so adorable how happy he is!
