Nightblade has "teleport strike", Templar has "focued charge", Dragonknight has "Chains of devastation", Sorcerer has "Streak", even the new class Arcanist has Apocryphal Gate. But warden has no gap closer even though the one skill that should be it "frozen gate" only pulls 1 target and is more of a trap spell than a 'gate' spell. Necro has the beckoning armor but no gap closer skill either.
For the warden can DEV make one of the gate morphs send the warden forward to the location rather than bringing targets to the warden? As i see it, that skill is worthless in PVE and a very specific niche skill in PVP. Fine to leave one of the morphs for PVP and have the other set for PVE. What i'd like to see is kinda a mix between the sorc streak and the arcanist gate. Warden casts and half a second the warden becomes an ice comet flashing forward to the target area and reconstitutes back whole again. Any foes withing 5 meters recieving frost damage and high chance of chill.
For the necro, i'd like to see a different style gap closer. Necro is big into bones and corpses. How about a corpse taker skill. I read from Dresdin files book that the foe named corpse taker would swap bodies at will. Fantastic idea. Make it so that the necro choses an area near a corpse of his casting and swap. That corpse becomes the necro and the former body becomes a corpse.
Arcanist: I'd like to see the Fleet footed gate be an auto jump rather than requiring the arcanist to actually step into the gate to move. The other morph allows allies to use the gate so no auto jump on it.
