Will there be more seats? in home

Without a subscription, a player can set up a home for 350 , and with a subscription, they can set up a home for 700 . However, in large houses, this is not enough. Perhaps the developers will increase the number of seats to 1,000 in the future?

They have stated many times that there are technical limitations for the housing slots. So don't hold your breath.

For me (I consider myself to be the average player), the furnishing limits are ok, I rarely reach the 700 limit on Notable homes. But, there are a few homes (Notable home size) that I would have liked an extra 20 traditional furnishing slots, but I managed. The housing community is large and has a large number of members that create amazing homes, very detailed. So I am hoping in the future the limits will be increased.

How can their be technical limiations? If they can do 700 slots in a large home, then they can do 700 slots in a classic home.

If they actually used instancing in homes, the numbers could be massively increased.

There are ways/workarounds to increase housing slots.

OP's question was about increasing the item limit from 700 to 1000. This has been asked numerous times over the past few years and the reply was that consoles are not able to handle more than currently allowed. But it's cool that you know how to increase the slots with workarounds. Maybe contact ZOS and let them know.

I did contact them, and got the run around (this is not hyperbole).

Why should console limitations effect PC players though? just have it 1000 on PC, Consoles can have the 700 limit.

You correctly noted why it is impossible to make 1000 on a PC. And on the console 700.

The limitations are also there for low-end PCs. The minimum requirements for this game are not particularly high.

Their hand might be forced to increase the limit. WoW is coming out with a housing system this year and my wife's family has gotten her interested in going back over. From what she told me the furnishing limit will be 10,000 and you can dye the furnishings.

ZOS will have to do something to compete with that it could be separate limits for PC, new gen, and old gen consoles or they find a way around it. They've told us they couldn't do things before only to do them down the line, crossplay seems to be going on that list as well.
