There is something odd about this door as well. It shows grayed out (the E key badge) when you are close, however, if you get a short distance from the door, it shows as accessible. However if you try to activate the door when its possible, it still doesn't work, because the game forces you to walk to the door first, before trying to open it. So then the open action still doesn't work, and you get a message stating the action is not possible at the current time.
