I can't help but notice the lack of conversation about Monomyth Reforged.

When Oakensoul was introduced, this forum was filled with conversations about how overpowered it was. Now we have Monomyth Reforged, which is allowing 2 bars worth of skills and has the same overpowered Major Force buff with very little drawbacks. On top of that, players gain extra damage reduction and healing on back bar. It's perfect.

Players are now regularly well above the critical damage cap to the point where critical resistance doesn't mean much anymore.

Nearly every pvp encounter I have is against a player wearing this mythic. Why? Because of how strong it is.

How long before Monomyth Reforged gets adjusted?

    We know it was part of the season to get people to buy it.

    We know eventually it will get nerfed.

    That's how ZOS rolls.
    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    It will be nerfed next Feb when the next season is announced until then enjoy it.

    I think the mythic is pretty cool, and I genuinely enjoy using it. The 2bar setup feels unique and comes with its own drawbacks, like getting caught by some combo while you're on your front bar.
    Overall, I find the current meta really fun. There are way fewer stalemates now. I have a lot more burst potential, but so do other players, so any mistake can be heavily punished. It makes fights feel more dynamic and skill-based (and lag-prone 😀)

    If Monomyth gets nerfed, people will likely just switch back to Markyn, which functions similarly by providing both offensive and defensive bonuses, just to a lesser degree.

    it's nice that it gives Major Force, but it doesn't offer enough for me to replace Oakensoul.

    Voidmantle is more interesting as it gives a unique 50% heavy attack buff.

    Oh I know that how it works. Just surprised that no one else is saying anything. I suppose if I paid my money to get the OP game item I wouldn't say anything either.

    It's massively overpowered for PvP, but the paywall is really slowing its spread. There are fewer PvPers in the game, and there's less and less investment among remaining PvPers in having BIS competitive meta gear.

    My own build would be much stronger with Monomyth, but I can't be bothered to pay the $45. Unlike Malacath or Oakensoul, it doesn't add any new playstyles or archetypes, just pure vertical stat progression specifically engineered for the existing PvP meta builds. So instead I guess I'm running a meme speed build until Vengeance returns.

    I agree that it's not quite on par with the most ridiculous things we've ever seen, but it's pretty badly timed right as everyone gets the Assassination line too.

    I think the most shocking part of the Monomyth Ring is just how incredibly fast and easy the Leads are to get. I got all but one on the first drop and was done in way less than an hour.

    Keep in mind the majority of the things you mentioned are not itemization. I was just thinking last night how broken some of the HA mechs used to be, when people could be 1- or 2-shot with HAs.
