How many crowns do you generally purchase on a monthly basis?

ZOS has said numerous times that ESO+ simply doesn't pay the bills (i've at least read that in multiple places). So, I'm curious, how many crowns do you generally snag per month separate from what you may gain from your ESO+ sub if you have one.

If you read in my synopsis, I was specifying outside of ESO+ crowns with your sub each month, how many do you purchase SEPARATELY, in which case for you that would be 0 and fall under 0 - 5,000.

I used to grab a few 22k packs during the two big crown sales a year. I think December-ish was the last time I did that. I'll occasionally grab like 5k crown pack every few months if there's something I really want. Right now, I have ~5k left, which I'm sure I'll exhaust once the new motifs release.

My spending on this game overall has dropped drastically, and I haven't even picked up the new expansion and probably won't unless it goes on sale.

I would prefer a separate option "I do not buy crowns". Since it's not there, I will stick to "Other" option.

    0 = buying no crowns :)

That's fine though lol that's why I made an other option

I dont find it enjoyable to buy cosmetic items in games, but I do occasionally buy armory slot, alliance change token, Race change token but that happens maybe 1 per 3 months or so.

    edited for punctuation.

Has bought some crowns but that it years ago. Else its all ESO+ crowns.
Earlier I aslo did buy lots of crowns items for gold, but its has also dried up and is much harder now.
For me to buy something it has to be a bit unique. As for pets, then you have mini Raz and Catwell why would I want more pets?

    Zero.

They lost me as a crowns customer with their pricing, especially after they introduced armory slots as per character.

I used to buy the 3000 packs from CD keys like they were going out of style (5 less than ESO site or steam). Ever since they stopped selling them, I stopped buying them.

Except for when crowns are on sale, I pretty much stay away from them. The only way to make this game tolerable for me is to get everything on sale, becasue frankly their retail asking prices are beyond what I consider reasonable.

I've never bought crowns monthly. I haven't bought crowns for a while, but when I was buying them, I'd buy one of the largest packs a year (19000?). Not every month.

I have so many houses, mounts, non-combat pets, cosmetics, etc. that there's really nothing I want from the crown store.

Zero should be its own separate option from 5,000. Not spending any money for non-ESO+ crowns says something much different than someone spending $50 every month on them.

Exactly. That is why I could not choose 0-5000 option.

Because of that "monthly basis" part and no "zero" option, I'm stuck with "other." I'll sometimes buy a 21K pack when it's on sale during Anniversary and often buy one when it's on sale during New Life. Other than those two, none. I generally support the game by keeping my sub and buying new content each year, so ~$200 per year flowing into ZOS' coffers from those, plus those one or two crown packs are another hundred or maybe two each year.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

I have never purchased crowns and don't intend to.

I think that if ZOS says they couldn't pay the bills with ESO+ alone, they are referring to the creation of new voice acted story content like what we see in a traditional chapter.

I'm certain they could figure out away to profitably tread water with eso+ and existing dlc revenue alone.

In the past, eso plus crowns only (I save them up for something I want), and occasionally one other crown purchase per year during a crown sale.

But this year so far, no money spent on the game.

I'll make zos a deal - when you throw some more resources into eso again, so will I ;)

I'll add my voice to those finding the lack of a separate 'none' option odd.

I have also never purchased crowns and feel no need to. There's little that interests me in terms of cosmetics (and very little at the prices charged), and most of that can be obtained via Seals instead. After buying all the basic utility items I need and all DLC I'd still have ESO+ crowns left over.

That's why I didn't vote. I wonder what the results would be if there was a 0 option. This poll is misleading.

    NONE

    Make a 0 option without no 5000

    None.

Sometimes my kid's buy me some for presents.

Other than that I make do with my ESO+ crowns.

Which btw as people are very prone to forget when moaning about ESO+ value for money pretty much covers the sub cost!!

0-5000 is a MASSIVE range... That spans from those who buy none to those who have a serious problem. Who actually buys more than $50 worth of crowns in a month?
