The Bugs Are Becoming A Real Problem

This has been building for a while, and seems to get worse with each new update: You're out farming for XP, or doing a speedy run through a delve, looting as you go then BAM! All of a sudden you are brought to a halt by the animation of you collecting a bug, an insect.

No matter where you turn it's fleshflies, torchbugs, butterflies ... they are everywhere! Any chance of an option to turn off the loot option on these flying pests?

PS. Sorry, not sorry for the clickbait thread title. :p

    The AddOn "FOB - Companion Helper" has an Option to ignore all Insects.

    There are a huge number of resource nodes with bugs flittering above them. It is dangerous to take MIrri anywhere these days!

    Indeed, but I don't want to ignore them all, just the ones near mobs or harvest nodes.

    Maybe you could turn them off just well doing your harvesting, then turn them back on after.

    yeah, I find it frustrating when there's intractable bugs over skyshards, lore books and quest objectives.
    spending a year dead for tax reasons

    A more irritating bug related thing for me is when you are on a ranged toon in a dungeon/delve, aim at a general direction of a mob and ... kill a cockroach on the floor nearby.

    The targeting in this game is very strange. They definitely need something that makes it easier to prioritize the things that will be attacking.
