Carnival Celebrant Costume

The Carnival Celebrant costume is back in the Endeavors section of the Store as a 'Limited Time Offer' but does not have a clock on it like all of the other 'Limited Time Offers.'

How long will it be available for purchase? I am interested but need time. If this is a permanent addition then - OUTSTANDING! I think everything should be in the Store permanently. Making everything permanently available in the Store is a smart way to make money as customers will be able to get what they want WHEN they want instead of finding out two weeks too late that what they wanted is no longer on offer = no sale.

But if it is indeed a 'Limited Time Offer' please put a clock on it so I know whether or not to get my hopes up for collecting it.

Officially all you know if no timer on gems is "at least 7 days" it's a crate item so no, not permanent.

Based on crate cycles it'll be there about another month.

Based on historical averages, the next Crown Crate season will some up sometime around the end of June. Every other Q2 crate has started on the 3rd Thursday of June very shortly after the Console release, so a good bet would be that it will end around the 19th of June.

The "Days Remaining" on the Crown Crate goods only pop 7 days prior, so we will only know about it when we see that. There's also a 50/50 on whether the 25-pack will go on sale (some have, some haven't), and we'll normally get the article about the next season of Crates starting then on the Tuesday (rarely Monday) prior.

The Carnaval Celebrant costume is a Crate item.

All Crate items are also available for Endeavors. They occasionally add extra limited time Gem-only items (the most recent was the water horse), but anything available for Gems will also be available for Endeavors.

This means that the Carnaval Celebrant costume will be available in the Gems and Endeavors store through mid June, and then it will leave once the Crates switch over.

I see now. "Crate" item refers to an item that was exclusive to the RNG of the lottery boxes. I misunderstood it to mean that the item is ONLY available via a lottery box.

I hope you're right about it's availability lasting until AT LEAST mid-June. I might be able to make that work - it all depends on the Endeavors offered during that time.

P.S. Hey, ZOS! Please consider putting EVERYTHING in the Store permanently like other MMOs do. That way when we see something we want and have the cash spend we can just snatch it up. Something for you to think about.

They've had a pattern of releasing the next crate season about a week or so after console gets the latest update (in this case, u46), so you can expect the carnival crates to be around until that time, although if you end up missing them for whatever reason, they do return, just have to keep an eye out.

If I remember correctly, every New Life Festival has every crate of that year return for about a week. So the next chance to buy with gems/endeavours the crate items that you want and have missed is then, I think.

No, the crates only return whenever they feel like it. For most of them, it's around a 1.5-2.5 year cycle, though some show up again inexplicably soon.

It's the yearly event morphable bits that show up again at New Life.

That was only in 2023, when 2 Crate Seasons were brought back due to gifting being disabled for most of the year for all players.

Except that this item is not locked behind the RNG paywall of a lottery box right now. It is available directly with Seals of Endeavors which was the whole point of my post. If I do indeed get a full week's countdown before it disappears from the Endeavors part of the Store then there is a chance I will have the time I need to do something about it.

Endeavors were specifically introduced to make Crown Crate items earnable. Since they introduced Endeavors, all items in currently available Crates have been available for Seals of Endeavor until the Crates leave the store. If I remember right, the Endeavor system was started after there was some movement on lootbox regulations in Europe.

So the Carnaval Crate items will be in the Endeavor Store until the Crates leave the Crown store. The data for the next crates isn't even in the live version of the game yet, so it can't be before Solstice drops.

Based on past Crate swaps, we can expect the next Crate swap to be somewhat staggered from Solstice launch (and other big initiatives) so it can get the advertising focus they tend to give it to help with sales.

They've also had some random Seals of Endeavor/Crown Gems–exclusive items that can't be purchased with Crowns and aren't found in Crates (like the Spriggan polymorphs and some time-limited mounts like the recent watery storm mount). They announce them in the monthly Crown Store showcase on the website.

If you want to tell the difference, you can browse the Crate items from the Crown Store (not the Endeavors store), and all those items available for Crown Gems are the Crate items that are also in the Endeavor store.

Unless ZOS is going to give us 5000 Seals of Endeavors in the June 2025 Calendar I won't be able to snatch up the Carnival Celebrant costume this time around. Spent my allotment of Seals on other Endeavor items and am once again broke. I'll just have to hope that they bring this item back in future and if they do try to collect it then.

Thanx for suggesting that I look through ALL the offerings in that part of the Store. It's been several months since the last time I did and was pleasantly surprised to find a dew items that I had thought were gone forever (close enough.) Now if only they would bring back the Lamp outfit styles again so I can get the missing pieces from that along with the mounts. LOL!

Since it's part of the Carnival Crown Crates, my earliest estimate for it to return is in 2 years.
