Since The Elder Scrolls completely lost its identity, and for those of you who say otherwise, please, help me understand the logic behind my new build:
  • Necromancer – A class rooted in forbidden arts, considered heretical in most parts of Tamriel (except among the Telvanni or certain regions of Elsweyr).
  • Templar – A holy warrior devoted to divine light and the will of Stendarr, known for violently opposing necromancy.
  • Warden – A guardian of nature and balance, one who seeks harmony with life and the natural world.
So let me get this straight! Now, I'm a divine light-wielding corpse-raiser who also talks to bears and hugs trees.

At this point, why not just replace the horse mount with a Jeep?

Oh, and for the next trial, please add an AK-47 and grenades. We need better AoE!!!

And while you're at it… an air fryer, please.
Let me cook some crispy guar nuggets mid-fight.

I mean, on that front at least, we kinda have Vastarie. ESO's proven that the school of Necromancy being Evil is an exception, not the rule. Are most practicing Necromancers using it for neer-do-welling? Yeah, do all Practitioners HAVE to use it in an Evil way? No. Even just summoning a Spirit for questioning is considered Necromancy.

Actually come to think of it. A Necromantic Templar Warden would make the absolute ultimate Priest.

Still more coherent than a Templar that wields a Nighthollow Vampire staff instead of a spear, and we didn't need subclassing for that one... nor for their silly change of DK from fire/earth to fire/poison to accomodate the original cp split, which isn't even relevant anymore now that it's hybrid again. Class identity lost coherence long, long ago.

A Necromancer Templar Warden mixed class is called a "mage" who has learned a set of skills of his choice - one could be the flame-based Destruction Spell called blazing spear, another is probably a Conjuration spell (skeleton or ghost?), and certain healing spells such as Heal Other or Grand Healing from restoration or Courage from Illusion.

I am sorry you cannot visualize a mage who uses those spells, haha. They're not uncommon spells in TES.

Would you be okay if we asked for automatic weapons like the AK-47, M4A1, and so on?
Imagine a sniper in Craglorn hitting Bahsei in one eye, and a bow guy getting him in the other!
If Bahsei gets mad, don’t worry, we’ve got a Jeep to escape!

And, maybe we can even request a grenade launcher attachment for the Jeep (CrownStore).

By the way, the Jeep is only for non-subscribers. Plus members get an M1 Abrams tank!

The in-game description of a templar is "These traveling knights call upon the powers of light and the burning sun to deal massive damage to their enemies while restoring health, magicka, and stamina to their allies."

There's no mention of where their power comes from. It could simply be what will later be called destruction and conjuration magic, but if they need a diety or patron of some kind Meridia or Magnus are options (both are associated with light and in some interpretations Magnus either created the sun or is the sun). Followers of Stendarr natrually attribute their powers to him, but that doesn't mean everyone using similar abilities has to follow him.

The same goes for nature magic. The Wyresses, Spinners, Druids etc. each have their own take on it with different beliefs about who are where their powers come from, even though the end result is largely the same.

I don't think a templar necromancer is necessarily any more contradictory than a templar vampire, or a templar in the Dark Brotherhood, both of which were already options. If you're not happy with the way you've built your character the solution is to change them to something you are happy with, but I think it's worth remembering most of the lore was written to accomodate the single-player TES games which mostly allowed you to mix-and-match skills as you wanted, so there's a lot of freedom in what you want to do, it's just a question of how you explain it.

(My templar is a followed of Azurah, who channels starlight rather than sunlight, although she learned from other mages in the Guild that both are tears in the Mundus leading to Aetherius, created by the Magna Ge, so it comes to the same thing in the end. She respects S'rendarr as much as the rest of the pantheon, but has no particular association with him.)

Khajiit was in beta and played for a while but then quit and didn't return until 2016, because the game wasn't sufficiently Elder Scrolls in nature. This one played Arena when it was released Daggerfall too, all the original games, and one thing they all shared was the possibility of class-free playing. The only way Khajiit found entertainment when he returned was by having a full roster of Khajiit of all 'professions' to play interchangeably.

This one is not interested in someone else's idea or opinion of what the profession or class he plays should he.

Ironically, with subclassing this game is now the closest it has ever been to the spirit of pas5 Elder Scrolls games.

One could be a healer that focuses on light, death, and nature.

One could also be an ice cold dps with summons that occasionally uses spear skills.

    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

What you refer to as "classes" has never been a core part of The Elder Scrolls identity; they are an addition specific to The Elder Scrolls Online, designed to create more complex thematic abilities that fit the MMO genre. Multi-classing has long been a feature in games like Dungeons & Dragons, and diverging skill trees have been integral to many series, including Final Fantasy and Path of Exile, so I don't see how sub-classing in ESO would be in any way outlandish.

Exaggerating the absurdity of combining those three classes, which in fact can actually thematically work well together, is an example of a straw man argument. Additionally, suggesting that sub-classing could lead to the inclusion of modern weapons is a slippery slope fallacy; such drastic changes will not happen.

You're not arguing in good faith. If you want to have a constructive discussion about "class identity" and thematics, it is best not to distract people from that discussion by adding in red herrings like suggesting the inclusion of modern vehicles and weapons. Otherwise, no game developer worth their salt will take you seriously.
