Sorcerer's flapping pet is annoying

Sorcerer's [Summon Winged Twilight] is extremely annoying even when playing on your own.
Is it possible to select whether or not to change the action in the in-game options, or to change it to a different animal?
I know this has been mentioned many times before, but I would appreciate your consideration.

✭This is something I've been thinking about for several months now.
Would it be possible for the devs to add an option to the game that makes other players' pets, flashy mounts, and similar effects invisible? They would remain visible only to players who haven't activated this option.

✭✭✭✭✭I haven't summoned the Twilight Matriarch in a long while-- possibly a year or more. But it isn't because I thought it was in the way or annoying; rather, it was so I could slot a scribed healing ability in the spot instead. Back when I did use the Twilight Matriarch a lot, I always unsummoned her-- as well as the Clannfear-- when I wasn't actively using them in a fight. I really don't understand why some players like to keep them summoned all the time, but if that's how they want to play then I guess it isn't any of my business. I just know that my own combat pets kept getting in the way of my interacting with objects, so I just got in the habit of dismissing them as soon as I no longer actively needed them.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!3 -

✭✭✭✭✭This has been brought up many, many times and so far there's been no solution (or any response from ZOS I think). Even after skill styles were introduced all they've done is sell players the same thing but in red.

✭✭✭✭The worst part of being a sorcerer is using flappy. You hear it, "flap flap flap ..." constantly. You sometimes see its wings flicker in the corner of your screen. It stops right on your head sometimes. I don't use it much but when I do, as soon as I go to do non-battle stuff, I remove flappy, usually by right-clicking it at the character screen.Fan of playing magblade since 2015. (PC NA)

As I play a 1-bar Sorc most of the time in game, even I need a rest from this flappy. I cannot stand her constantly flapping at my shoulder.. If I am not moving, she should not be moving.
Also yes. Hide this pet in crafting areas and banks. PLEASE!!!

Asikoo✭✭✭✭Update 46 could have been an opportunity to make pets smaller, something players have been requesting for years.
The developers could have used this update to replace existing pets with smaller versions, or even introduce a new class, such as a Hunter, that could track and tame enemy pets for use by Wardens, Sorcerers, Necromancers, or any other class.
But what did we get instead?
Something no one asked for and something that 50% of the player base voted against on the forums.8 -

✭✭As someone who has visual impairment, and who plays end-game trial trifectas, it's not just pets. ZOS need to give the option to turn off ALL other player effects.
On PC there is an addon that hides the rest of the group, but as a RL that isn't an option as I need to see where other people are.PC EU

The twilight is not steady. It does 3 flaps and pauses before the next flap. It also bobs up and down. So distracting from what I would like to see instead.

I just assumed that it must be something one of the players in the Vivec City crafting area was doing. And then one day I suddenly realized that it's my character's Haj Mota Hatchling pet! I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!5 -

That reminds me of the time that I was complaining that it was possible for another player's bear to stand on the Outfit/Dye station, making it hard for others to change outfits. I later realized it was my bear. XBox EU/NA:@ElsonsoJannus

Imperial_Archmage✭✭✭✭It’s so annoying! I hate the scamp and the clanfear too. That entire skill line should have been all about summoning atronachs not bestial daedra. If I could change just one thing about the game that would be it… well that and give every buff a 60 minute duration rather than a 10 second one. /sigh3
