BGs Should allow you to queue for all games modes at once.
There is an addon that lets you queue for every gamemode at once, and I am sure that helps make queues better for those that utilize it. However, I am sure many people dont use this addon or know about it. It should be added into the base game. This would help with BG queue times, while still allowing people to queue for specific game modes if they desire.

I am not sure if the addon would change something. There are actually just 2 game modes. 4v4 and 8v8. And depending whether you are solo or grouped, you chose the queue.
If everyone would use that addon, then there would be the possibility that 4 solo players are matched into the 4v4 group queue against 4 pre-mades, same in 8v8. And we all know how such matches are going to end.0 -

There are 4 checkboxes in the addon; 4v4 solo, 4v4 group, 8v8 solo, 8v8 group. Even if you dont want to queue for group as a solo player, the addon allows you to queue for both 4s and 8s at the same time.
Plus, as a solo player that basically does nothing but BGs, queueing into only 1 queue takes forever to get a match for me. I queue into the group queue solo all the time to speed up queue times. Anecdotally, there's a lot of vet BG players that do this that I know of, and most of the people in the main BG guild on NA have the addon.

Yeah but sometimes people just want to get in a game, regardless of the circumstances. If you want to avoid that, then you just wouldnt have to queue for it. But allow people the ability to do it, especially when its already built into the game elsewhere and plausable.0 -

Yeah, the only selection is solo or grouped, or 4 or 8 player teams, but maybe that is what OP wants, all of them. No mode choice.

These are the options:
Solo 4v4 Ranked
Group 4v4 Ranked
Solo 8v8
Group 8v8
With keyboard and mouse, you can only queue up 1 at a time. You cannot select multiple to queue at the same time. Unless you use controller or have the addon.
For example if I wanted to queue for Solo 4v4 and Solo 8v8, with keyboard and mouse, I have to choose to queue for one or the other. I cannot queue for both at the same time. The UI does not present that as an option.Edited by SundarahFr3akinrican on May 29, 2025 7:32PM0 -
