Companion Ember - Rapport never seems to change

Hi there,

I've had Ember now for a few weeks, but the rapport triangle hasn't changed. I understand about the detrimental effects that can occur, and the last few days have only been positive things and yet it remains at a standstill.

Any thoughts on this?

If you're on PC, try installing an addon like Improved Companion Rapport Info by @code65536

That will show you the numerical value of Ember's rapport instead of just the bar.
It will also spit out every increase/decrease to your chat window as it happens.

Is this normal for quite a lot of playtime? My wife is using Isobel and has already had her first "upgrade" and companion quest. My Ember is level 15.

Thinking on this further, I don't believe it's a bug.

Isobel seems to have a lot of +5s when one is farming and doing world bosses, delves etc, (which we have been doing), whereas Ember's are +1s for the odd wolf/Rune-thing, and one needs to be spending more time doing thieves guild stuff etc.

If you visit rapport guides (UESP has good ones) and focus on the Big Daily ones (+125 rapport) plus the smaller more frequent ones, you can level up rapport very quick.

You'll also get companion quests at 1,000, 2,000 and 3,000 rapport. Those give +500.

For instance, if you do 2 +125 dailies today, you'll pass 1,000, get the companion quest and once you complete that you'll have doubled your rapport in just 3 quests.
