Trying to start scribing

Coming back to game....

Purchased the standard Worm Cult content package. Attempted to start scribing, but NPC was not showing and learned I needed Gold Coast. I purchased Gold Coast through crown store and now I can interface the NPC and get the quest The Second Era of Scribing, but when I try to go through the door to Ther Scholarium I get a message that it is Locked Content.

The msg is:

You are unable to travel to this area because it is locked.

You can unlock this content by purchasing Scribing (Scribing) in the Crown Store.

I see nothing for Scribing in Quest Starter or any other content area. I have multiple lvl50 characters above cp160 and I have tried a couple of my characters with no luck.

What could I be missing?

If I recall, you go through a portal near the mages guild where the Second Era quest takes you. After that the wayshrine should be open for you to port to directly.

I can go through the portal and get to the Scholarium door. Trying to go through the door gives me the finger.

and Scribing is part of Gold Coast, which I have purchased. In July they are making it part of the base game. Scribing has been out for a year now.

Correct, as the post mentions, since U46, it's basically cut from Gold Road as it transitions to base game. If you didn't have it unlocked prior to U46, then it'll unlock in mid-July.

I purchased Gold Road and owned scribing before U46, and there are no NPCs and I cannot access the scribing system.

Me too. Bought plus and content pass - cannot access.
