Mainly over one petty reason.

Camera position.

If you haven't seen my whining around the forums yet, I have been leaving complaints and requests concerning a certain Camera Setting. I play on Console, and for some reason, ZOS thought it unnecessary to give the Console User Interface the ability to affect the Camera's Vertical Position and Offset settings, something PC has been able to do. It's been so glossed over for years I've even had PC players on here tell me they had no idea we were even missing it, because you'd think that would be a logical option to have available right alongside the Horizontal Position and Offset sliders. I have mentioned this on the forums for years and I will continue to do so, because frankly, to me, the position of the Camera around your character is ESSENTIAL for self insertion and immersion. Having your character be center screen alters your perception of the world they inhabit. It alters your perception of your character. A true over the shoulder Camera helps you feel like you are controlling a person in the world. An over the head Camera makes you feel like you are controlling a toy in a playground.

For years I begrudgingly looked past this. I, (in stark contrast to the typical MMO player) would zoom my camera in as far as to where the bottom of my screen was cutting off my character's legs, just so I could be close enough to get a sense of being my character, even if their head didn't even reach the center of my screen. (the problem is much worse with short characters) Though when TES: IV Remastered released, and that in turn drove me into reinstalling a modded Skyrim with a camera Mod that gave me extensive control over it's positioning, I could play fully immersed with my character on full display on my 27in screen.

Then one day I logged back into ESO, and there was my Vestige. A mini figure with cut off legs.

Please enable the Camera Vertical Position and Offset sliders for Consoles.

I will even pay you. I'm that desperate.

I completely agree with you. It is so frustrating to be completely ignored for years. ZOS could at least give us a reason for limiting console players. Sadly, I just don’t think they care nearly as much about console players as they do PC players. Maybe I am wrong, but it’s just the feeling I have always gotten from them. We are redheaded stepchildren only tolerated for the money we bring in, and not enough to really care about and address things such as this.

    Stay safe :)

Yup... I'm also on board with the frustration about not being able to adjust the vertical camera setting on XB. If we can adjust the horizontal, I see no logical reason why we can't adjust vertical as well.
