[XB-NA] Can't Load In To Zone - Game Locks But Audio keeps Playing

As title.
Just got back from a vacation and fired the game up. Launch was successful, but when I attempt to load my main character who was parked at Sword Singer's Redoubt, the game sticks. First time, I could hear the sound effects of the braziers near the entrance, second time it's just the background music from the login screen. The Sword Siinger's Redoubt splash screen is visible, but the game is completely unresponsive, the loading icon is stationary, and I have to force-quit the game.
Any ideas?

LootAllTheStuff✭✭✭✭✭Update: I managed to load in a secondary character. For some reason, my screen settings looked off, but otherwise everthing seemed OK. I did tweak FOV. Then I quit that character and loaded in my main and, this time, it worked!! Phew!!!
Could do without that sort of excitement...0
